That's an interesting problem for the Antarctic research crews...they tend to set their clocks to the time of their support organizations. The question came up on QI (BBC1) TH - apparently there is a separate Antarctic time zone used? How that should be much advantage when people are so separated from one another down there and its only ever night, dawn, day or dusk I dont know. E
