Apparently rulemylife is of the opinion that the Tea Partiers should throw rocks at anyone who is mentally challenged that wants to join up with them.

Maybe thats just how the people he hangs out with act, so he doesn't know any better.

I'm of the opinion that most teabaggers are mentally challenged.

You're right RML, most of the people able to be at these rallies apparently didn't learn much from whatever local public education system that spawned them.

Maybe some of these people referenced in the news article below who worked their last day today at the last auto manufacturing plant in CA will be better spellers, banner makers, and poster makers. Would that change your opinion?

FREMONT, Calif.California's sole remaining auto plant is preparing to make its final vehicle before closing its doors. Thursday is the last day of operations for the New United Motor Manufacturing, or NUMMI, plant in Fremont. NUMMI began 25 years ago as a joint venture between Toyota and General Motors Co. GM pulled out last year, and Toyota later announced it would halt production, eliminating 4,700 jobs.

You know, although I'm sure if he were a younger man he may have been at one of these 'tea-party' gatherings since he was a vocal, opinionated man, I'm confident my father who worked 35 years for GM, wouldn't spell as well as these folks do.

"Mentally challenged" and now job challenged; neither issue being addressed thus far from the Administration and people, your represented 'superior' education and intelligence, support. Go ahead and represent that intelligence using your best argument - mocking them.

rulemylife -> RE: Which America? (4/1/2010 11:15:31 AM)

Which is what Sanity?

You mean no one is entitled to take any of your earnings even though you use things paid for by the public?

Like the photos you have using the benefits of national and state parks.

Sanity -> RE: Which America? (4/1/2010 11:22:39 AM)

Did the public pay the fee that had to be paid as I was driving into those parks, Einstein?

You're really on a roll today.

You don't even know what entitlements are, do you. Maybe you should look the really big words up before you try to post about them.

Let me tell you something Merc, I grew up in a family of blue-collar workers, so no, I would never mock them.

But the reality is these people are being conned by those like Dick Armey and the political and corporate interests he represents that are using this movement to advance their own agenda.

So can we take your position as feeling the exact same way about all of those folks that were protesting the last administration, with similar signs and even worse language?

That kind of sucks for you that you live in a state that charges for its parks.

Most don't.

And before you say that national parks do, there are very few.  Most do not.

Ok - Then your prior posts on the issue, and the "mentally challenged" label, represent an 'April Fools' joke - HA HA! I get it now!

Noting that in the past, you have represented those being conned and serving the other side of the agenda, ultimately also serving and supporting similar "corporate interests", would be referenced as "mentally enlightened" - spelling notwithstanding.

Sanity -> RE: Which America? (4/1/2010 11:35:29 AM)

Every major national park charges an entry fee and camping fees, etc.

You don't get out much, do you.

No, Idaho doesn't charge, but I'm not usually in Idaho for most of my long road trips.

You need examples? You can't be serious. Just in case.

There are pleny more out there, let us not forget about all of the effigies that were hung, burned, stomped.... even some good videos of celebrations surrounding those things.

One I can name without looking that does not is the Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Cleveland and Akron.

It was rml who suggested that its completely unacceptable for mentally challenged people among a political group.

...perhaps, however he did not suggest that anyone throw rocks at anyone. That was you.....do try to keep up.

Sanity -> RE: Which America? (4/1/2010 11:51:40 AM)

You're just lost.

I suggest you go back through the thread and see if you can discover what was actually said because right now you're just clueless.

Sanity -> RE: Which America? (4/1/2010 11:57:41 AM)

Off the top of my head I know that Yosemite charges, Mt. St. Helens charges, Mt. Rainier charges, Craters of the Moon charges, Grand Teton charges, Yellowstone does, Olympia does...

Six of my current profile photos were shot in various national parks, monuments or reserves and I paid to get in to where each of those six pictures was taken.

I was serious, but fair enough.

I guess we can conclude we have too many idiots on both sides.

rulemylife -> RE: Which America? (4/1/2010 12:09:50 PM)

I was out near you two years ago and I know Badlands National Park does not charge.

But this is starting to be a silly argument, some do, some don't.
