I think you have a point, although I don't think CNN is really "Liberal." They are quite centrist compared to Fox or MSNBC, but I digress... CNN has done a good job portraying the Tea Party movement fairly, and even Larry King was fair last night, although I agree it would be nice if just once an intelligent, articulate, informed Tea Partier were the front man. After all, they have some legitimate gripes that should be taken seriously. But they don't help themselves with their choice of messengers, i.e., Sara Palin, Tom Tancredo, Glen Beck, Joe the Plumber, etc. Hell, even Fox and Friends tried to find a "credible" Tea Party spokesman for their morning show and it backfired because the women was a loon. Somebody posted a clip of it on one of these threads earlier. Maybe you should just admit that the party movement is more angry than informed, instead of assuming that everyone else just doesn't get it. quote:
ORIGINAL: Sanity Do you think it a coincidence that out of all the millions of Tea Partiers that one individual was singled out by the notoriously Liberal CNN for that Larry King interview? quote:
ORIGINAL: brainiacsub This sums it up pretty well. I watched Larry King last night and saw an angry old man from the LV Tea Party interviewed and he was saying "...the govt is out of control...they want to take over everything...all these new taxes....what about my Social Security?" And then there was the classic sign from the Tea Party march on Washington last Sept: "Govt, keep your hands off my Medicare." It does make you think...
