Most hot dog stands on NY street corners these days are a waste of time - yes they are Hebrew National, but served in a very sterile and "gushy" way with a lack of heart.

Now if could figure out what crack they're selling in the chicken gyro stand at 49th (50th?) and 6th these days i'd make a fortune. Never seen a line around the block at 2 AM before.

I don't understand how baseball continues to generate revenues with so many teams locked out of contention, games lasting 3+ hours, and pitching changes between 2-10 times a game. When MN had to pay a NYY price for its catcher, my dim hopes for the sport pretty much vanished. The NBA is another league on the decline, IMO, with such a long irrelevant season and way too many teams.

Now the NCAA idiots want to expand the March Madness to 96 teams.

I think its time to point Domiguy at various league commissioners and committees to wake them up.

Yay, baseball season!   Going to the Pirates opener tomorrow at PNC against the Dodgers with the family in tow.  This is the year we end the streak of losing seasons...we have the record, no need to add on to it.
