ORIGINAL: dananddawn What is the most difficult BDSM skill to master? I would guess single tails... (Note: Not relationship skill, but BDSM skill) That is a very good question, but I feel that the answer is subjective to the individual based on the personal skill-sets that one possesses. I would say that for some, they may have an aptitude with excellent eye-hand coordination; and so something like a flogger or single-tail may come almost naturally. But that same person may not find that rope is something near overwhelming...the right tension for suspension play, or the proper knot that doesn't slip and cut off circulation, or create permanent nerve damage. Some people can look at rope, and the way their mind is wired, sees it as logical and easy as the back of their hand. Or you may find that person who thinks that fire or electrical play is interesting but risky play that they may have some personal stigma that is getting in the way of being comfortable with it all. I think it's how one is wired that would dictate what comes naturally or easy, and what may be harder to master.
