I think I was all of about 19 or 20 when I first experienced it. The first person to top me (also the first person to fuck me - that was a thorough end to my virginity!) was an older and very experienced Dom. I managed to hit what I later recognised as "sub space" by the end of the first night with him, and found myself actually begging to be kept tied up after it was time for us to go to bed. ~S

In actual BDSM scene, about 5 years ago. I know this was addressed to subs, but I was a sub and can still slip into sub space at a party, I don't need to be in a scene, just the energy in the dungeon can do it.

i was 38. i hadn't even known that it was sub space until i had spoken to my friend about it. Then when i brought the incident up to my Master, He just replied "uh huh". If you mean an altered state of conciousness, never. If you mean feeling that incredible sense of security that comes from knowing that someone wants to possess all of you, and that you, in turn, belong to that person utterly, well, then about 5 months ago when my partner of 2 years told me that he was ready to take me as his, all the time, and I was given the chance to turn myself over to him. :)

My first knowledge of hitting "sub-space" was last week. I am new to the lifestyle and i have had that rush before but not in the sense of bdsm. it is a TOTALLY different feeling. and plan to go there MANY, MANY, MANY times..if my Master wishes ofcourse.
