I'm a class snob?

perhaps. I attended public school for most of my education, then went to a private school that has boasted 40 presidential scholars. I then went to university. I am now unemployed. I'm not poor as I was intelligent with my savings and preserved my buying power quite well (remember a few years ago when I encouraged people to buy gm pre-bailout and to cash out a few days later on idiots thinking this would actually make a difference...or when I encouraged people to buy gold when it was below $800 an ounce, little things like that can go a long way) but I certainly am not rich. I am waiting for my landed immigrant status so that I can attend trade school, though I am not looking forward to having to deal with unions - who will not like me.

I really don't care if a president bows in order to be courteous and respectful but I would like a president and a political party that has the courage to increase taxes on the wealthy in order to balance the budget.

They said in the interview we face a candor gap; too few politicians are making the difficult choices to ensure American prosperity in the future.

It was nice to hear somebody tell the truth about what needs to be done to straighten out the economic mess.
