I'm not too, too stressed about growing older. Mentally I'm still in high school (shup Clumsy)

What I DON"T like is going to reunions & seeing everyone ELSE old!

**Eta, it's also a bit unnerving to hearing about icon's from the 70's & 80's dying from health related events. Hmmm, maybe I am stressed**

I'd like me some new cartilage in my knees, and level nipples, but that's about it.

Oh, never mind...

Growing older; there is much I appreciate about it, but trimming the odd hair in my ear, the body aches, those I could do without.

Years ago, I was reading the memoirs of the magnificent Ruth Gordon and she advised that if one is going to lie about one's age, then you should say you are much older than you really are.  That way, people always tell you how wonderful you look.

That is great advice!

Edited to add:
I always say my true age on my profile but since I turned 50 interest has waned and reading profiles that look at mine is a guilty pleasure but since I am not looking it doesn't matter to me.

I send myself reminders on my phone... What's that alarm? Oh just the phone telling me to take the garbage out. No worries.

I used to call my home phone when I had one to leave myself a message to remind myself to do thus & such.  I miss my answering machine.

OMG! I use to do the same thing! I forgot about that.

I also leave myself messages on my cell.

And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the good ol' post it note.

I do all of the above!

I am the queen of post-it notes at the office.

I use my cell phone to remind me of things, I send myself texts, emails, and I used to leave myself memo messages on my answering machine.  I also tape notes to myself on the bathroom mirror, the dashboard of my car, my purse, my tote bag, and the tv screen in my bedroom.

What I hate is when I only write down a snipet of something that makes perfect sense to me at the time, and I have no clue what it means later.
