This is why lawyers are loath to argue law with people who aren't lawyers.

The Box set of Law & Order and 5000 hours of internet research doesn't make you a lawyer.

It makes you a whack job who thinks you know the law

Yep, this is also why Atheists are loath to argue theology, science, history or the Constitution with non Atheists.

I am shocked hearing that from you considering it is excerpts from the original parchment.

I am also very sorry if the roots of this country offend you.

You think the roots of my country offend me? I wouldn't climb up too high on that horse, if I were you. I just don't happen to consider the Cotton Mather crowd to be the "roots" of the nation that was later founded on these shores, or their laws of much relevance to the Constitution.

K.

several of the so called founders made references to God etc in their writings, however were intelligent enough to know to avoid religious wars to keep it secular such that they would not favor one flavor of religion over another which really isnt true, and if it were true the taliban could shoot his whorin wife in the middle of the street as an example.  So this claim that we have freedom of religion is simply not true.  Now thats not a shot at Christianity but thats the way it is nonetheless.  If I were to trade off between prended unalienable rights or sharia law or ME law et al in general I would take pretended unalienable over them any day.

Oh jeffffffffffffffffffff can go a round in court with me if he wishes but he may not like the way I play the game.

Actually I assure you he wont like the way I play the game.

So are you still planning on showing us how religion is not the source of the law or are you going ot let my arguments and OP stand?

Actually English Law is more firmly based in the Pagan laws of the anglo-saxons than in christianity.

Anglo Saxon England saw a time when Christianity came to the fore, and Paganism declined. Law in the UK evolved from Roman and Anglo Saxon codes, as well as the influx of Christianity.

Your reply makes no sense.

The Sumerian codes had a law which stated the penalty for murder was death. They also didnt have an overall religion, with each city praying to their own gods. They gave you the wheel, the plough, and writing.
