As of about a month or so ago. Which roughly means in my case you can currently define 'playing it' as spending $100 on lessons wherein I get my ass handed to me in less than an hour.

Lied? Who lied? Did I make a claim in any way shape or form? No. I made a snide comment based on news reports I had seen up to that moment. Then when Lucy cleared things up, I indicated where the vacuum of information occurred.

Very simple liar, I was the only one to reference 13k gallons an hour. You claimed the 13k gallons per hour was made up and specifically how it was made up about a news story not in a news story. Therefore anyone who can read english can see you were attacking my original post. Now you had either not read the linked news story or had chosen to misrepresent it. I pointed out your error in my first response to you and rather than acknowledging that you were in error you attacked me again. Therefore it is reasonable to deduce that your first attack was intentional and therefore a knowing lie.

Therefore, you provided no original information or point of view. You only posted what someone ELSE had already written.

Peak Oil is one of those bogey-men they bring up all the time. It's bunk. Back in the Global 2000 Report to President Carter in 1980 all the experts claimed that oil would peak around the year 2000 and it was all downhill from there. They were wrong. The peak oilers in 1960 were wrong.

Will there someday be a peak in pil production. Yes. Will it happen in the next decade? No. When it does happen is it doom for Earth? No.

When oil production does peak and decline, it's not going to be some major crash. It will be a very long, very slow curve. So the price of oil will rise a little, year by year every year. At some point, it will rise high enough that it will make alternative energy source cheaper than oil and then we will shift to that.

Unless before then they manage to make some alternative energy source cheaper through technical innovation - in which case we'll shift to it early.

you posted a LINK to an article in your first post. I didn't even click on that link.

So you admit you had no basis for your attack on me. Why did you think it was a good idea when you didn't know where I got the 13k data? Do you often randomly pick fights with people?
