Well, exactly. When a bunch of black guys get out guns and talked about armed revolution against the US government to address their grievances, they were considered by most people to be dangerous radicals. But when a bunch of conservative white guys do the same, they get an entirely different sort of reception.

Yeah, heavily armed Feds and Swat teams breaking down their doors.

The teabaggers will be a footnote in just a few more months.

It will be fun to bring back up these posts and idiotic posters who chose to align themselves with this group of assholes.

Just a fad...

The REAL reason Liberals are pouring all their hate on the grass roots Tea Party movement:

quote:

Republicans Threatening Congressional Seats Long Held by Democrats

Winds of change seen not only in places where posts often change hands.

ASHLAND, Wis. | Rep. David Obey has won 21 straight races, easily prevailing through wars and economic crises that have spanned presidencies from Nixon to Obama. Yet the discontent with Washington surging through politics is now threatening not only his seat but Democratic control of Congress.

Obey is one of nearly a dozen well-established House Democrats who are bracing for something they rarely face: serious competition. Their predicament is the latest sign of distress for their party and underlines why Republicans are confident of big gains in November, and perhaps even winning back the House.

The fight for the midterm elections is not confined to traditional battlegrounds, where Republicans and Democrats often swap seats every few cycles. In the Senate, Democrats are struggling to hold on to, among others, seats once held by President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Democrats are preparing to lose as many as 30 House seats - including a wave of first-term members - and Republicans have expanded their sights to places where political challenges seldom develop.

We ask if the tea party movement is a conservative one and there are the cries of 'no of course not'

Now sanity is admitting it, these people are all bad losers and they've been badly losing since the start of last year.

Who has ever said the Tea Party isn't about fiscal conservatism? Because thats bull shit.

In the United States, Conservatives are centrists, and what we have now in both the Republican party and especially the Democrat party is far to the left of the average American.

Conservatives taking back the Republican party is the nightmare scenario for the Democrats that is beginning to occur, thanks to the Tea Party.

Outside of the teabaggers, everyone sees it as the nightmare scenario for the Republicans, further radicalizing it and pushing Independents and moderate Republicans to Democratic candidates.

It's just noise, though. Conservatives will now vote for Conservative candidates. Whoopy. Big change.

But they've nothing else to talk about, so they talk about the Tea Party. Keeps them in the news, at least.

Its just noise but you lower yourself to gutter level to try to insult them...

The left's desperation shows through with every "teabagger" insult they hurl. Playfully call a Lib a libtard or a leftard and they piss and cry and moan for weeks about it, but its perfectly acceptable for them to stoop to that level because in their minds all their fear and panic justifies it.

This is all too good, really. Nobody pinch me, I'm enjoying this dream!

Oh yeah, well... glancing up at the thread title reminds me, there's also that old, tired, worn out race card, too.

Anyone who opposes trillion dollar deficits is obviously a racist.

In the United States, Conservatives are centrists, and what we have now in both the Republican party and especially the Democrat party is far to the left of the average American.

Conservatives taking back the Republican party is the nightmare scenario for the Democrats that is beginning to occur, thanks to the Tea Party.

Here's one of those "fiscal conservatives", Marco Rubio, darling of the Florida teabaggers:

Marco Rubio, Florida GOP Under Federal Investigation

The Internal Revenue Service has opened a "primary" investigation into the tax records of three former Florida GOP officials, including GOP Senate candidate Marco Rubio, the St. Petersburg Times and Miami Herald jointly report.

The investigation has not been publicly confirmed, and Rubio's campaign adviser told the Times that no federal investigators have contacted Rubio.

Nevertheless, the reported investigation puts new scrutiny on the former Florida House Speaker just as speculation mounts that Florida Gov. Charlie Crist will run for the Senate as an independent, leaving the GOP nomination for Rubio, who is far ahead in the polls.

The IRS is investigating expenses that Rubio and two other officials, ex-state party chairman Jim Greer and ex-party executive director Delmar Johnson, put on the American Express cards issued to them by the Republican Party of Florida, the newspapers report. Investigators are reportedly looking into whether Rubio and the others used their GOP credit cards for personal expenses without reporting or paying taxes on additional income.

The newspapers reported earlier that Rubio charged more than $100,000 to his GOP credit card during his two years as House speaker for expenses including grocery bills and plane tickets for his wife. Rubio released a statement saying that his expenses were for "legitimate political purposes."

"When I made personal charges, I paid for them directly to American Express," the statement said. "I have not been contacted and don't know anything about any potential inquiries, but I welcome the chance to set the record straight once and for all."

Crist has zeroed in on the expenses put on Rubio's credit card, charging that he used party money inappropriately. "He's trying to pawn himself off as a fiscal conservative," Crist said in March.

.....Meanwhile, the Herald and the Times report, the IRS, the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office in Tallahassee have launched a separate criminal investigation into the use of Florida GOP Party credit cards. Former House Speaker Ray Sansom and others could reportedly face charges of tax evasion and making false statements on their tax returns, according to the newspapers.

Let me remind you, yet again, that it was the teabaggers who started calling themselves teabaggers, until the dumbshits finally figured out what it meant.

Point taken.

Still, it's striking that the Tea Partiers' passion for America's fiscal health was curiously muted when the President racking up deficits was a white Republican.

And the crowds swarming the streets to "take back America" didn't arrive here in DC till after our first black President.

Consider that from Jan. 20, 2001, to Jan. 20, 2009, the debt held by the public grew $3 trillion under Mr. Bush—to $6.3 trillion from $3.3 trillion at a time when the national economy grew as well.

By comparison, from the day Mr. Obama took office last year to the end of the current fiscal year, according to the Office of Management and Budget, the debt held by the public will grow by $3.3 trillion. In 20 months, Mr. Obama will add as much debt as Mr. Bush ran up in eight years. Mr. Obama's spending plan approved by Congress last February calls for doubling the national debt in five years and nearly tripling it in 10

Maybe just maybe it IS the economy, and not the color of his skin.... But keep playing the tired old race card, it still works for Jesse Jackass and Louis Farrakhan.

I know that if I want a truly unbiased article I most definitely would turn to Karl Rove.

Thanks for setting us straight.

The fact that our first black president decided to double down on Bush's deficits and bailouts and government takeovers had more to do with the Tea Party forming than the first black presidents skin color. Liberals were playing that tired race card while Obama was fighting Hillary for the nomination, and haven't stopped ever since, and it really is getting tired.

Bush's spending made even Liberals nervous, I clearly recall their loud cries about his big spending ways while he was still in office, but now they're silent while Obama does the same and worse.

A few observations Mr.subrob....do you have a constitutional inability to say or type "President Obama" ?....I'm just asking because it seems curious that in three referrences in that last post.it was always "Mr.Obama"...the job he was wlected to did in fact come with a tittle. That might seem like I'm splitting hairs with you....but given who you are(a law enforcement officer?)and your obvious familiaratiy with ranks and tittles, this just seems a little off.
Second and last when decrying someone else's use of the "race card" it is beyond ironic to than cite 2 "other" black men of note....was this a case of a)you actually "playing" the race card...or b) you couldn't,despite racking your brain ,come up with any white guys who have played the race card?
The more you post the more you reveal.

Bush Deficit Hurting Obama

"It's true that spending in 2009 was much higher than it was the previous fiscal year, by about $602 billion, excluding payments on the national debt (which actually declined in 2009 because of low interest rates)," wrote Michael Linden, an associate director for tax and budget policy at the Center. "But it turns out that a huge chunk of that increase actually happened before President Obama took office. In fact, fully 41 percent, or $245 billion, came in the form of the Troubled Asset Relief Program and the rescues of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, actions taken in the fall of 2008 under President George W. Bush.

As for the deficit that conservatives decried, Linden concluded that it was the recession, not Obama, that was to blame. In 2009, federal tax receipts were $419 billion below 2008 levels -- the largest decline from one year to the next in seven decades. "The overall cost of the decline in tax revenues was four times larger than the cost of Obama's initiatives," wrote Linden.
