So you have no problem going for job interviews as Chesty Bresty? Or telling your 85 year old grandmother she now has to call you that? I'm amazed. Yes, you can change your name back but you will never get the opportunities back that were denied you because of him demanding that everyone else demeans you also. Nor the monies back that you couldn't earn. Yes, we have different dynamics. Here I submit only to him, I'm not required to submit to everyone else, to be demeaned by everyone else. Apparently you're submissive to all. Have fun.

I like that name because it reminds me of the pin-up girls that one saw on the side of a bomber plane...who looked very fun-loving to say the least but had that smile that said she knew what to with every part of her body and a few good things to do with every part of yours. I'm pretty sure all the Candy's out there will be glad to know they can never get a job because there name is too slutty[8\|] In my situation the job/money scenario is a moot point, doesn't apply, never will apply. I'm sure I'm supposed to feel scathed at the implication of being submissive to all, but here's the thing. I pretty much am. Pretty much always have been. The beautiful thing in being with him is that he accepts that fact... doesn't make me feel bad over it, doesn't try to "fix it"... nope, he just let's me be me. I finally get to stop pretending to be strong, and independant and all the rest. Those pretenses that are so important to others to have recognized, to me were a burden of falsity. Glad to be free of them. You could give her a nice long name: Sara Louise Udele Tahnee. That way, you can just call her "S.L.U.T." for short and look how pretty that would be monogrammed on luggage and her briefcase....

Naming a person "Pleasure" is going to cause problems with their daily interactions, especially because most incredulous remarks are going to be along the lines of "Your parents seriously named you Pleasure?" and what's the response going to be? "Uh, no, they named me Jane, but, you know, I'm a slut, so I had it legally changed."

Elisabella, I referenced chesty in my comment since I had been asked about saying that name to my 85 year old Grandmother. Common sense indeed, is why I'm sure he wouldn't choose something like.... chesty, lusty, lilcocksucker, etc. In fact, he clarified a couple of times that he was looking for names, real names... but I did find the other offerrings pretty funny! As to the name, Pleasure... not that I have any clue that this would be chosen, but here's my thought. It skirts the edge. It isn't all the way over the edge. I say this though, coming from a very different perspective than most. My name is Cy. Pronounced sigh. I don't think anyone has ever heard my name and not said something about it... what? That's different. Is that because all the men sigh when they meet you? Is that a family name? And so on. There is usually a solid conversation pertaining to my name before we even get on with anything else. There are countless things people think of when they hear my name.... some sexual, some baseball lol.. all depends. I find Pleasure to be about the same.... all kinds of things one can think and it would depend on the person as to what they took from it. At any rate in all the comments i've ever heard about my actual name, not one person has ever said... why would your parents name you that? And after the initial conversation/clarification of my name, people smooth right into calling me it without even thinking about it... then it's just my name... just who i am. One of those life things where experience shifts perspective. ~s
