Smutmonger -> RE: "broken subs" (4/27/2010 5:36:28 PM)

I'm not in a situation to take proper care of one-that says it all about my sense or reality and responsibility.

There are a lot of people out there who take in "pets' and then abuse and neglect them-not me sister.

Who has the moral high ground NOW?

ORIGINAL: DesFIP

Pets, the real kind, do pay their way. Not with money but with love. The fact that you see no value in having a companion animal of the four legged kind says a lot about you. None of which is positive in my book.

I COULD keep someone in fetish gear all of the time-but she would get really bored crafting leather or metal gear in my shops to pay her way while I was off at the day job. And I am usually too tired to beat someone to hamburger and fuck her asshole for an hour after a nine hour work day.

Now you tell me you're not a weal twue Dom and aren't in a position to use me properly, after I go and throw myself into your online velcro collar of whateverism in a previous thread. Isn't that just peachy. I'm sorry, but in light of this, I'm just going to have to beg to be released, even though it breaks my heart to do so. **we need a rolly eyeball/sarcasm smiley to go here**

Smutmonger -> RE: "broken subs" (4/27/2010 5:59:19 PM)

Collar of "whateverism"

made of pink fuax fur with a handy velcro strip attachement, and a cheap plastic leash clip-that breaks easily.

Prominently displayed behind a small plastic luggage like window in front is a tag that says "_______ is owned by______ until he gets tired of her. Each of these five dollar wonders come with 25 removable tags-refills for a dollar. [:)]

reynardfox -> RE: "broken subs" (4/28/2010 2:11:08 AM)

I concur with the gist of this. To be honest though, a think a lot of these permanently kept in a cage when not needed types, are full of it.
I doubt that any of these shackle merchants even show up for a coffee, never mind a branding iron.  How needy would they have to be?

ownedbyPF -> RE: "broken subs" (4/28/2010 4:05:58 AM)

Why does a sub or slave have to work to be worthwhile? Not having a job doesn't mean sitting around getting fat. Hell, alot, and i mean aaallloooot of women sit around getting fat just fine at a job. So, you can't afford to support a girl? Okay, fine, but alot of men, vanilla or otherwise can. They find plenty of value in their women that has nothing to do with whether they bring home a paycheck. This idea that abounds about a woman wanting to be a leach, or ditching on all responsibility because she doesn't have a job is... let me think.... shallow? Stupid? Uninsightful? Judgemental? All of those? You can't support her, or don't want to, okay great, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of people who prefer their subs or slaves at home taking care of the house, the laundry, the grocery shopping, the garden, the banking, and so on.
Omg... Master likes having me at home... sometimes even naked and cuffed... i am not real, i am worthless... thank God someone told me[8|]

That isn't what you said in your op. You said and I quote

"Seriously.... I won't even keep a dog. If it shits and doesn't pay it's way-it doesn't belong under my roof."

That statement says nothing about the ability to properly care for an animal. It shows an entirely different attitude. So which is the real one? The one you said without editing or the one you chose to defend yourself?

ownedbyPF -> RE: "broken subs" (4/28/2010 4:56:37 AM)

DesFip~ I'm right there with ya on the "owning a dog" piece of this thread [;)]

Des, you're saying what i was trying to say much better than me.  [:)]  i'd like to see the answer to this too.

And the statement "People who don't like dogs are satan" also does not capture what you were saying in your original post either.  You're saying something much more pointed than that.

i'm wondering, do you like anybody or anything?  Lately it doesn't seem that way.........[;)]

I certainly am not feeling a lot of love for you little pc princesses at the moment.[8D]

But if you really want my honest opinion? I hate dogs. I hate the way they stink. I hate having to clean up thier nauseating shit. I hate them shedding all over everything. I hate them tearing things up,and always being in your face. I hate the constant barking.

I don't have much more use for cats-but they at least aren't as much work.

Woooopty fucking doo. We all get mail that we just ignore.

You view a dog as a pest because it does not pull it's own weight.

Pretty fucking sad.

Smutmonger -> RE: "broken subs" (4/28/2010 7:57:06 AM)

I view a dog as a pest because it's useless. Just like these "slaves" that mail me. I look at a rat in the trash can the same. In my life-everyone and everything needs to be able to make a contribution. No one rides for free.

There is a difference between an arrangement in which one partner doesn't work outside the home, because it is beneficial and agreeable to both parties; and people who go looking for someone else to support them. There are many subs/slaves/vanilla wives/partners/whatevers who do not work outside the home, yet are capable and willing to do so if need be. Then there are people who have never taken the initiative to gain employable skills, and really don't want to work anyway. The first catagory are the ones who are responsible with anothers money, look for ways to economize, aren't demanding, and will pitch in when need be. The second are greedy ho's who cut and run to the next best deal the first time things get a little tight.

No disagreement there! It seems that I've seen alot of this lately...that if the sub/slave doesn't work that they are the latter... period.
Just because she/he doesn't work, or is hoping for a situation where they won't have to work and can stay at home, doesn't mean they are a leachy little ho looking to escape all forms of responsibility.[:D]
Seemed like it needed pointing out!

I see "division of labor" as a good and needful thing in most circumstances. But a mutual and agreed upon contribution IS being made. That's the part that shows commitment.

It was the poodle hug that UniqueRaven gave you that made you feel better, wasn't it?[:D]
See this I understand, saying that you need them to be actively contributing to the relationship... to your lives.
My first impression was the idea that if they were looking to stay at home, you were labelling them as useless leaches, trying to be utterly irresponsible. Seemed entirely unfair to say!
And you confessed to not liking dogs, so it does make you suspect[;)]
