I live in a tiny town...I have to drive to the NEXT town to find a used book store.

People come to this site for more reasons than to meet other kinksters or to get wank material. It was annoying enough dealing with a few online, much less having them "know" me and where I live.

Another reason is that I have lots of family living in Ohio, and some I know are kinky, and others (uncles, squick squick) that I strongly suspect might come here, so I don't talk with unmarried or widowed Doms from Ohio nor male submissives, if they're Caucasian.
