Status: offline 		Just because I didn't write the article doesn't mean I could not be lying. Whoever wrote the article is irrelevant. It's easy for someone to find something that is not true and post it and be accused of lying. A good example is the conspiracy theories I've seen posted here frequently. Most people don't believe those threads but whoever starts them is not accused of lying. They are told they are crazy or they need to take their medicine. I suppose, thinking about it, I should be glad people are not telling me I forgot to take my medicine.

All I'm saying is when I told the truth people accused me of lying. When I wrote that, I was angry, so I was being sarcastic, very sarcastic, and I thought that sarcasm would be obvious. In a nutshell, I think overall Canadian healthcare is better than American healthcare because it is much less expensive with better results.

What is it about having a better health care system like the rest of world that gives some American people difficulty? I guess it must mean “socialism” and “communism.

I don't agree with both of you. I believe nobody is superior or inferior to anyone else - believing in evolution does that to a person. And I think divine right is ridiculous by the way.

That is actually brilliantly said and the bolded part is a statement that my father has been saying for years about our neighbours to the south. It is reflected in the Walmart culture. Lets get all big and powerful and who cares how many little people we have to crush to get there. The fabric of our society might get destroyed in the process, but we want power!

Toronto is the safest, cleanest big city in the world. Whats not to like? Ever been to the Canadian Rockies or Thunder Bay?

No offense, but Toronto is the only Big City in Canada. As well, having the powers of observation I have seen a few Big Cities and felt they weren't as safe or clean as Toronto. Not a Scientific study to be sure and without the "backup" that a critical thinker needs but I don't think I am far afield from the truth.

well, quite frankly many towns I know back in Germany appear to me to safer and cleaner than many cities I went to...one of the regular aspects which make my head shake is that you don't even recycle drink bottles in many parts of your country (thats at least what I experience) and they end up on the streets...one of the things I don't experience much back home and if someone does it there will come one later at some point to pick it up and brings it to the shop to claim the refund for it which you get when you bring back bottles to the shop...

I think you missed my point. I am speaking of Large Populated Centers. Not towns or villages.

Status: offline 		Thank You, but although I do not like guns and hope again never to handle one, for the first time ever I think, given the circumstances I believe the US is in, if they have guns, keep them close, for something is coming, the cat will come out of the bag soon, if they do not wake up in time and readjust their mentality. In fact I believe because of the personal ownership of guns, it is so far resisting total control from within, the failure of the American Empire, just like so many other empires that have been and gone before it, but has any empire lasted for such a short time, maybe it is a light that shines twice as bright only lasts half as long.

Who knows even, the current threat from overseas might have been engineered to put security personnel in key locations with the compliance of the mob.
