ORIGINAL: popeye1250 LOL, Shannie, if they're comming from Mexico they're probably not "spending" a lot of money. It's a third world country. And, "tourism?" Sure, they're all going to Disneyland and staying for a week $2,100 for hotel rooms, $600 for meals, $500 for Disney tickets, $200 for gas! And then,..... pack up the Cadillac Escalade and back to Mexico, right? Hey Popeye. :) Well, if they have tourist visas, they're probably somewhat "middle class" (since Mexican's have to show property ownership, stable employment, etc., to get a tourist visa). People don't come into Utah and spend millions, but we still are utterly dependent on the tourists who come here during a few months a year to ski, and spend money in restuarants, bars, hotels, shopping, and etc. I'm not arguing for a particular position, I'm just wondering how it's going to come into play.
