Was that one of the brittle ones, or an older model? I started a business in 1975 and it was one of those "things" you bought. The busieness was short lived. The pen lived in my shirt pocket so it caught a lot of shit since I deal with mechanical things. When I turned it in for service it had been laying in my desk for about five years. It had weld spatter on it, various splashes of paint and a crack in the cap that prevented it from staying on. When I got it back it looked like a new pen...which it may well have been.
