Well, I thought about this a bit. And 100 percent was attracted to the no-nonsense kink. But really, that can be any relationship, it's just more present in BDSM than others. What keeps me interested is the, in concept idea of breaking both parties down into the raw components of who they are. At least in the BDSM community I can say Dom looking for Sub LTR. People know what that means in general terms. I've tried to force unknowingly Dom/Sub style relationships in vanilla world(Didn't know that was what it was called), but it doesn't work at least I never got it to.  I guess I'm attracted because this is the obvious place to find a counterpart who feels the same way about a relationship dynamic and has already come to terms with it and their chosen or born role(whichever view you take) in a relationship.  Kink to me  is  a small  part really, as far as  importance goes. I can't think of anything that doesn't do it for me to some degree besides like shit eating, animals(extreme by BDSM standards even).   Do, I want kink, yes, but it doesn't appear as much so as others do. But ultimately to me it's really about finding someone who gets what I am, and I get what she is, and being comfortable and content with it, and world be damned.

Stripped bare people(mental and physical) being people the way they want to be, not the way it's "supposed" to be.

Ah, what can I say I'm a romantic Now where's that whip.

That I am no longer alone.  In the BDSM community I have a family that I am bonded to (and care for) far more strongly than to any of my blood relatives, with the possible exception of my children.

Is it the Surrender aspects? (D/s M/s)

Not entirely. Ive been surrendered to Masters that had nothing to do with bdsm. Ive surrendered to the ocean while watching it, Ive surrendered myself to a sunset, a flower and the smell of freshly baked bread. I can surrender anytime to anything.

There is something however, something subtle and lovely about surrendering within an intimate M/s relationship to me. Its conscious, its powerful, its "interactive".....it makes me smile inside.

Is it the play aspects?

Hell yes, how fun!
