In response to the question posed by the OP - I don't see snobbery in what you describe at all. I do see reasonable skepticism. When corresponding with someone, if the bells start going off suggesting they are not who they claim to be, by all means it is reasonable or even wise to cease correspondence.

She made some good points and your too thick headed to see them because your too busy arguing for the sake of. As if what she has said was a direct challenge to your ability to discern the difference between one thing or the other..All she was doing was laying out a rational idea..Ya know, the one where you can't KNOW the person on the other side so why be quick to judge one way or another..Why not do the reasonable thing and talk to the person for a second before you... LA is one of the very few people in my opinion that has their feet planted fairly firmly on the ground. Her words do just fine. In agreement with DG..Your just being a douche.
