You could just see that, couldn't you? If a bunch of Hispanic kids turned up at school on the 4th wearing mexican flags and singing la cucaracha they wouldn't get sent home, they'd get lynched.

Bull. I live about 50 miles from the Mexican border, and have seen Mexican flags on display/ heard mariachi music on many a 4th of July. As the 4th is in the middle of summer vacation, I can't say on the school thing; but I have yet to see anyone assaulted, let alone lynched over it.

I doubt Moon has the slightest clue what life in the Western U.S. is really like, he probably learned all he knows from old Clint Eastwood flicks..

I provide links, you provide nothing....

You provide lack of reading comprehension, I provide intelligence.

I don't need a "link" to demonstrate how the world has changed in the last 200 plus years. If you disagree that the world has changed....do you think they had jets and space flight in 1776?

When you wear a shirt emblazoned with the flag as a surrogate for the flag, that is disrespectful according to the code. I did not make the code. The code has not been revised.

The code never covered t-shirts. T-shirts were not invented when the code was written, nor was the ability to put logos on said t-shirts.

Are you really this dense or are you just pretending?

I noticed how you have to attack people personally, instead of their positions...

If you think that makes you seem intelligent... well we just have different views of what intelligent is...

Have a nice day

a bunch of snot nosed racist brats

One of those snot nosed racist brats was 1/2 american 1/2 mexican. So tell me, which side does he hate?

I would think that person isn't "half" anything, they are Mexican American and European American.... we do not call people half breeds anymore.

I didn't call him a half breed, I pointed out that his mother was american and his father was mexican.

Even though you haven't shown me a link, I will address this
The story was in the OP, the kid was on tv

If I go around hating on white people is it ok because I am white?
Hate is wrong. Doesn't matter where it comes from

Answered this, even if you do not want to acknowledge the reply..

And you never answered my question... how entertaining

No I didn't. I finished my last post and left.

People are not "half" anything...

Since you did not like the term "hate:... I will rephrase, if a White person chose to act in a racist manner toward other white people, would that be okay to you?

That's kind of news to me. I identify as half German (both sides), a quarter English, and a quarter French. I have to say that I don't really see the problem there. [>:]

Well, some of us don't like that term,....thank you very much

That was a bit snippy and color me confused. What term are you objecting to, 'half'? Of my 4 grandparents, 2 came from Germany, 1 from England, and 1 from France. 2/4 equals half in my world. I don't really get the problem you seem to be having here. Apparently I missed some PC approved verbiage thing. *shrug*

Im half Sioux. Quarter German, Quarter Irish. You didnt miss a thing, Wyld. Julia is on her rant box and doesnt realize how wrong she can be when she is up there.

In fact, the indian "nations" require a certain percentage to become a member. This is something i would have thought Julia would have known.

quote:

There are two avenues to proving that you are a descendant of a member of a federally recognized tribe. The first is proving to the Bureau of Indian Affairs with the appropriate documents that you are a descendant, the
second is proving to your tribe that you have enough blood quantum to qualify for enrollment. One thing that many people do not know is that each tribe is different when it comes to the amount of blood quantum you must have to be an enrolled member of a tribe. For example to be an enrolled member of the Nez Perce tribe in Idaho you must be able to prove ¼ blood quantum, however, the Cherokee in 1976 decided that anyone who could prove they were a direct descendant from someone on the Dawes Rolls could become an enrolled member. So, it’s important that you do the research and find out what the lowest blood quantum percentage is for your tribe. It may be that you do not have a high enough blood quantum to be enrolled, however don’t let that discourage you, you can still receive a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood through the Bureau of Indian Affairs which is also proof on paper.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/43551/enrollment_vs_certificate_of_degree.html?cat=31

So, yes, i would say that being a percentage of a certain blood line is still valid.

Only the delusional ones whose repeated reading comprehension issues force people to explain the same thing over and over. And that's not an attack, it's simply calling it like I see it.

Actually, they are...or they can be. It's an actual term used in genealogy. If you don't like it....too bad.

Damn, I keep forgetting that some of these posters are not actually from the US. I guess it must be more fun for them to rip on another country. Then they don't have to worry about the shit builiding up in their own back yard.

You are really stuck on the "half" thing, aren't you? I guess is was alright when you called the kid a snot nosed racist brat, but "half" you have a problem with?

Since you did not like the term "hate:... I will rephrase, if a White person chose to act in a racist manner toward other white people, would that be okay to you?
I never said I had the problem with the term "hate". I said Hate is wrong. Doesn't matter where it comes from. If you can't understand that, I'm sorry.

She is upset because I called her on labeling the kids "racist" when she really had no clue. Now she is trying to make me look bad because I used the word "half". I think she is hoping it will make people forget that she went off on the kids before actually finding out the whole story.
