Was looking for a tool once that rolled under a truck that hadn't been running and there was a box, inside was a dead younger cat that had been strangled with I rope, I was so phucken upset I threw up on the spot.
 
Cats have unnecessary pregnacy, Toms fight intense fights leaving cats really beat up sometimes earless and\or toothless.
Not to mention all the diseases they can catch, oh and also they love the taste of anti-freeze which kills them usually with-in 24 hours.
 
I am not saying these things to make you feel bad or worry more. I am saying them because it does not surprise me, the destiny of your cats and I feel You failed them and I don't feel one bit sorry for you, I do though feel much saddness for the cat's who are gone that no-one took the steps to protect them from the dangers of the outside
world.
Any animal professional will tell you cat's do very well and adjust to being indoor cats and can live long healthy lives. I have had many cats and none of them died earlier than 11 years old, one lived until he was 23!
 
Sorry no pity party from me and if I could give any advice, it would be to not let the 2 you have left outside anymore and any other that comes into your life. If it were so you would know just where all your cats were, right there safe in the house with you.

Cats are outdoor creatures.  Keeping them locked up in a house could be considered just as cruel as what you are accusing Riot of.  Your superiority fails because you are being cruel and unkind in equal measure - just in another way.

 

In fact, moreso for your 'helpful' advice isnt helpful at all.  Its judgemental and condecending.

You have no right to be 'pissed of' - you only think you do.

People could say the same in response to your efforts to cage your animals in.
