I'm not a jealous person by any stretch of the imagination, but if you're not going to spend quality time with me because you have other people on the chain, then I'm out of there. :)

Monogamously wired or monogamously choosing folks are always going to think more than one is too many, and that's totally understandable. But for folks wired poly or wanting to choose poly, the "quality time" issue is actually something that an additional partner can add to, not subtract from. Each person in the relationship may want "quality time" for themselves or for outside projects, and being able to trade off downtime can be an advantage. That's worked very well for our triad so far, and nobody feels either neglected or smothered.

As usual, your mileage may vary, and poly is not right for everybody.

Me personally, any more than one is one too many.

If I offer someone my submission, then I give it to her wholly. As presumptious as this sounds, I expect the same in return. I hate having to compete - *especially* for someones attention/affections.

I give Her 100% of my attention (aside from those little curveballs that life throws our way), & self, and I would like to be rewarded in kind.

i am curently the only slave my Mistress has but if another was to become possible in O/our dynamic im certain that they would be loved and made welcome to the dynamic.

I'm a male sub, Perhaps it helps that I'm bi, but my answer to this would be that the Domme should have as many subs/slaves as she wants/has time for.
The feeling of submissiveness is amplified by being just one of a stable of subs for me.

In my head all women should have the freedom to have as many subs as they want. Iin my heart although I'm still more than happy to share I'd want something special if it was a sub/Domme relationship.
If it's just fun or service though, hey she's the boss.

I guess in real life the true answer will be found somewhere between what I've said and monogamy.

I think there's some truth to this. I don't know if I'm strictly mono or poly wired. But I have a clear idea of what I would be happy coexisting with. In terms of quality time, I do pretty well in that area. I'd rather be left alone.

When I consider the things that would bug the hell out of me it is fairly clear I'd be better off with a male second instead.

That's just another way of saying "Do what thou wilt, an it harm none," which is the Wiccan Rede (creed).
