OK so he makes you nervous. That's fine, but why? Since he has become president, what upsets you, explicitly, that is within his direct control? I talk about his presence and persona because all presidents are limited in what they can accomplish, but what they do impart--forever in history, forever and ever, is their leadership. You mentioned "control of the purse strings." Is that your main complaint? Because you realize he doesn't control it at all, right? So if you do, what is it that irks you or makes you nervous? How does his leadership impact your opinion of him? [Edit for duh.]

No, I don't believe everything anyone says. Politicians especially can't be absolutely candid because they will always be called out on whatever they say. This thread is a perfect example. Obama said he wouldn't be having a traditional press conference when he presented with Mexico President Calderon. Nonetheless, members of the press shouted questions to him about the U.S. primaries results and so he ignored them. He said what he was gonna do and then he did it which resulted in, "Obama Avoids Tough Questions from Press, Again."

I understand that in Britain the prime minister has to publicly debate policy in oftentimes heated discussions with the opposition. Here, our current president hides behind his wifes skirt and refuses to come out before even a very friendly press corpse who for the most part voted for him and dearly love him. And yes, this curiosity is beginning to raise a few eyebrows.
