If such questions are directed at me, it may be that I am unaware of them as CM hides the posts of one or two people in this thread from my view.

CM has not hidden them, you have. Being the supergenious you claim to be, one would think the need to lie about such a small thing would be beneath you.

Well in all fairness, he might not be lying. I certainly wouldn't put it past him to forget how the Hide button works, being the supergenious that he claims to be.[8D]

I know it's funny an all - but smegma says more about the lack of hygiene a man practices, rather than the amount of foreskin he has.[:'(]

And yet you are still here? I gots to have a talk with this god for not doing his job.

I recommend that you take it up with the Divine. Paganism has been out of fashion for more than 3600 years. The dominant and leading religion for the past two thousand years has been Christianity. These days some people are moving into a post-Christian era.

What makes your truth right and the truths of others (such as your ex- friend and those here with whom you have been debating) wrong?

Each person has his own truth. My former friend has his own truths; despite having no sense of ethics he considers himself a righteous man, a veritable knight in shining armor. He is genuinely indignant when someone tells him he is wrong or doing wrong, as in his own perception he always does the right thing.

quote:

ORIGINAL: BossyShoeBitch
Who decides that?

Each person must decide for himself.

ORIGINAL: BossyShoeBitch
In other words, if I was feeling doubtful as to my own beliefs and opinions, what would convince me take your truth as my own rather than others' truths that are in opposition to yours?

Suppose that one is blind and living in a world of blind people. How would one decide whether the one person that claimed he can see was speaking the truth - and if so, that he would not lie about his visions? Crazy, unbelievable visions, such as one about lights in the sky at night.

You consult with other people, you gather and verify information. Eventually, you may meet someone who himself can perceive a glimmer of light and confirm that there is indeed such a thing as sight and that the one person who claims to have sight is indeed telling the truth.

I tend to shy away from absolutes in most cases.  Why is it that you are so absolute in your opinions without giving the opinions of others an ounce of credence?

I have no opinion. My truths are not absolute. If presented with new information, my truths may change. I do not live in a world of proofs, but in one of probabilities. I do give information provided by other people credence, such as in this thread among other people Kim and SirPumpy.

There is a difference between having an opinion and having a valid opinion.

Talking to God is always a good idea. Blaming Him for everything wrong is not where it is at.

You folks who think all you lose is a piece of skin on the dick are living in the dark ages.

Unicorns are real although extinct long time baby.

You answer as if you are sharing wisdom with me.  I wasn't asking your advice or point of view actually.  I am genuinely curious as to why you seem convinced that you are right.  It seems to me that if just 1 male person is happy and grateful that he has no foreskin, then you cannot correctly speak in the absolute way you have been doing.  That would be rather arrogant, don't you think?

Maybe today it's my turn to decide.

That is okay. I am not here to convince you or anyone of anything.

What is arrogant? I am a supergenius and I excel in solving problems conceptually that normal people take decades if not centuries to solve. Does that make me extraordinary? Yes. Is it a reason to be arrogant? That depends on the person.

Let me retell you a tale. Once in China there was a marvelous archer. Everybody admired him, except for one seller of oil. When asked why he was not impressed, he answered: "Everybody has a talent. That is not remarkable."
"Then what talent do you have?" they challenged him.
He answered: "I can pour a whole can of oil through a hole the size of a pinprick without the oil touching the rim of the pinprick."
They did not believe him and demanded a demonstration - and he showed them the truth of his words.

Everyone has a talent. I know mine. Why should I deny having this talent? My talent defines me. If I denied my own talent, I might as well commit suicide. This is not about me being arrogant, but about a few people having a problem with accepting that other people have talents that they themselves lack.

quote:

ORIGINAL: BossyShoeBitch
It seems to me that if just 1 male person is happy and grateful that he has no foreskin, then you cannot correctly speak in the absolute way you have been doing.

I am sure that there are plenty of happy amputees, whether they have had an eye gouged out or a finger, toe or leg or molar or appendix or foreskin removed. In fact if they all got infused with happy juice or happy smoke, I expect that nearly all amputees would be happy.

What singles out populations with foreskin amputees for me, is that after a number of generations their incidence of inherited genetic diseases becomes six times as high qua percentage than in indigenous non-circumcised European Christian populations. As well as that such populations start drowning their adulterous females in wells, slitting their throat, put them on fire until they die, throw stones at them until they die, bury them alive and more of such murderous atrocities. I do not think that babies that are born with inherited diseases are happy. I do not think that females that are murdered in this way are happy. Do you?

Such negative effects do not occur as a consequence of amputating other organs. They do occur in populations that circumcise their males, though. And they will occur in the USA if the people of the USA for a number of generations persist in the misguided circumcision of their males.

quote:

ORIGINAL: BossyShoeBitch
Why is it that you are under the impression that you get to decide whose opinion is valid?  Maybe today it's my turn to decide.

Decide away. You might be right.

Deciding what is or may be truth is part of my talent. It does require some knowledge, though, and if possible some kind(s) of confirmation.

I am thrilled I have no foreskin.

You see, the foreskin restricts the growth of the penis.

Twenty years ago mine was only 5".  In the next ten years it grew to 8".  Today it is over 10".

If this keeps up I'll have to get custom-made underwear.

Who needs those penis enhancement pills that Smiling Bob sells when you can just cut your dick?

I'm thinking about marketing a self-circumcision kit and hiring Smiling Bob to hype it for me.

Many people think circumcision removes nothing more than a little extra skin. The truth is that circumcision removes several critical components of male sexual anatomy.

I was with a bunch of friends this past weekend and this issue came up. Personally I feel circumcision is barbaric, cruel and detrimental to a peaceful civilization.

I was astounded to hear that there are tens of thousands of nerve receptors for estrogen in the foreskin. Tens of thousands.

This made me really cry piteously for the men who have been shorn and continue to be.

For all of us, we all live here together.

how is this political or religious?

FetishRose -> RE: What is Lost Due to Circumcision? (5/26/2010 4:22:04 PM)

My Sir still has his foreskin...for which I am profoundly grateful.  For him, it's a very sensitive area, that brings incredible pleasure when it's touched in just the right way.  So for me, it's an added play spot, and I actually find it more aesthetically appealing that those which are cut.
Just my two cents.

Whether unicorns are real or not, depends on one's concept of what a unicorn is. My concept of the various types of unicorns is not the popular one of a horse with a long horn on its head.

Fast Reply, and I suppose the be all and end all of it.

What is lost due to circumcision in the case of the young, well that is obvious, freedom of choice.

As for the older, those who are adults, their choice is their own to make.

Did Atlantis exist?

I think you would be blind to anything as magical as a fairy or an elf or any sort of thing like that. Because I cannot give you the sort of "proof/evidence" you need to be spoon fed in order to make up your own mind does not make my reality wishful thinking.

I am not saying I have seen a unicorn but I have an fundamental understanding of them, how and when they did exist that I doubt you ever have in your entire soul's history been able to grasp at this point. Give yourself a round of applause. It is likely too late for you.
