well, most of the time congress doesn't read bills before they vote:

So the fog of  controversy necessitates passing bills that no one understands?

Read the full quote again.

What it means is that the bill has to be evaluated without all the hype and controversy.

Which I know you understand or you would have posted the full quote initially.

You're just playing your usual games and hoping no one bothers to check.

Part of the package of "hope" and "change" included pledges of transparency.

Just hollow speeches? Meaningless words on a teleprompter screen?

She said we had to pass the bill before we could find out whats in it, the meaning is clear enough - the rest is your spin. Idiots and dopes run Congress, they're passing bills written by special interest groups which hardly anyone in Congress (nor their constituents) have fully read or understand, and their faithful Kool-Aide drinkers blindly support them because they have a D by their names.

Spin it however you want to, its pretty obvious what the truth is.

Doesnt have anything to do with what I said and posted, but yeah, political speeches are all hollow rhetoric, including all your heros.

Again, don't fuckin run your dribble on me about shit I never said or never held an opinion on. One of them is belief in any political rhetoric, and maybe if some of your shitbreathers on the right learned to use technology they wouldnt sound so fucking dumb all the time.   You are a class lout in that area, and you needn't attribute opinions to me, nor cut up and mischaracterize anything I say, you have every other post and article in the world to do that with, and you do.

We recently had a larger poll in Massachusetts.

That pole seems to be firmly esconsed, along with your head, in your ass.
Please try to stay on topic.
We are discussing the results of a bullshit pole of 1000 people quized on the telephone that purports to represent the collective beliefs of 300,000,000 people.
