Status: offline 		i am looking for tips from the Ladies here. What are things that subs have done that you really appreciated, could be a gift or just a nice gesture. i am trying to stay firmly on Ma'ams good side as sometimes i can be a bit of an annoyance to Her.

Or...  stop by one of her favorite dining places and get take-out for her.

Gift cards to Bed, Bath and Beyond will also score points with her.

Then you need to learn what ingredients she uses, what brands she prefers, etc. Shopping for her IS NOT buying her the same things you would buy yourself. That should be perfectly obvious - and goes along with listening to her preferences.

Such eloquent proof of not listening to her preferences here. 

Now try to pay attention... Make a list of items and exact brands that she buys.  Simply look in the pantry and fridge.  Add to that list anytime something new appears.  Take that list with you whenever you go shopping for her.  DO NOT SUBSTITUTE OR DEVIATE FROM THE LIST!

I can grasp that obedience=rewards principle, LA, it's just that I'm struggling with your advice to the OP to 'listen to her'.  What proportion of what a woman says do you think would be a realistic aim for a man to listen to?  Would, say, 20% be OK?

Status: offline 		If you've listened well enough, like it says above, during your conversations then you will know the sort of thing she'd love to be surprised with. If she has a birthday coming up, or just for the sake of it, buy her something you know she will enjoy. Find something she might have mentioned she hasn't seen in ages, or can't find in the shops, then she'll know you put a lot of thought into it too, and as said above, the rewards will be tremendous.

Status: offline 		Yes, buying things, and cooking is good, in moderation. Things that are special to her, ocassions or groups she likes, and even paying on things that break. I once paid the plumber, as my Domme was 'at her limit' on things hitting her that day.

A nice mystery tour that also involves a relaxing lunch or dinner together.

Find out what her favorite flower is. Then, if possible, grow one. If she ever visits, she might see it, and tell how well its cared for.

Scrapbook a page, devoted to her. Could even make it 'vanilla'-ish. Pictures of her being happy, with shapes and objects (again, vanillia-ish) that remind you of her.

Help on a room she wants to rearrange, change, or simply touch up.

If all else fails give her a hug!
