I think sending kyra a care package of yarn is a great idea, though I do worry about her getting in trouble. KoM, my mom used to knit me the most beautiful sweaters, I really think you should try to get past the trauma of your youth and see the potential. Plus it's not good to hold onto trauma, it can take over your life and the next thing you know you are freezing because of your inability to wear knit scarves and gloves which are so warm and toasty.

There are those of us who have been doing Plastic Canvas needlepoint for the last 34 years, and that takes lots of yarn too LOL don't forget about us in the mix!

Status: offline 		Wow, in thinking about all this I just realized the crux of the whole yarn dilemma. Do you think it'd be possible to knit (or crochet) a doormat out of yarn? If so, just imagine what that might do to self-image of the poor house it sat in front of?

for the crazy quilters (and I know you are) I found a wonderous source of fabric...the furnutore store...they have to toss out all the swatchs of colors and fabric each season

And it's so stress relieving to knit,
after one drops a stitch when nearing completion,
you throw the stuff on the floor and jump on it and curse at it,
