What are they?

Fat threads. They are sacred.

Vaginas and the women that eat them. They are sacred.

I think that is it.

I think that will be vastly different person to person.

To me.......the relationships I have, with the people I love. Nothing else.

Don't get me wrong, there are material possessions I love having, but they don't even register on the sacred metre.

Oh damn!!!! I forgot all about the stuff DG mentioned! How silly of me.

Love and how we show it in our daily lives.

DarlingSavage -> RE: Some things are sacred... (6/3/2010 3:58:41 PM)

Fendi is sacred. Versace is sacred.  Dolce and Gabana are sacred.  A body that looks good in these?  Divine.

Life, Truth, and Liberty...

I see we can't even talk about sacred without being ridiculous. That is disappointing. If I'd been looking for stupidity, I would have put this in the P and ORS section.

I see the point is proven.

Thank you.

Are you responding to me?

Unless noted, that was a fast reply.

Sacred as in valued, worthy of respect or dedication? Or sacred as in not something you would share or air to others?

I would agree with relationships, love, freedom and your own moral/ethical value system whatever that may be (religious or otherwise). But I would also say in the more vernacular and common use of the word, (or more appropriately sacrosanct or invoilable); the confidences and vulnerabilities we share and personal relationship issues. Too often the second concept is clearly lost on others and I find it reprehensible and absolutely classless personally.

and yes, cock can be sacred...ie: worthy of worship, respect or dedication.

DarlingSavage -> RE: Some things are sacred... (6/3/2010 4:25:55 PM)

I'm working under 0 sleep and moving, I'm deliriously exhausted, I can't think straight.  All I can do is think of things that make me laugh and hope they make other people laugh as well.  Laughter is good for the soul and good for what ails you.  Maybe laughter is sacred.  I think human rights and the right to be able to live a life of dignity and respect is sacred and I think it's blasphemous when one group of people thinks it's ok to exploit another group of people and in so doing, deprives them of their sacred rights.

heartcream -> RE: Some things are sacred... (6/3/2010 4:27:53 PM)

Lots of things are sacred.

Telling someone to go fuck themselves is very sacred.

laurell3 -> RE: Some things are sacred... (6/3/2010 4:40:58 PM)

THAT would be HIS value system at work. Yes, still sacred IMO.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Some things are sacred... (6/3/2010 4:40:58 PM)

My family and friends, and the love I have for them.

For me, not much else is actually "sacred" in the sense of valuable-defend it against anything-put it above all else.

Other things are important, but not pinnacle-vital. I am not a religionist, though, and I do not lead a faith based life.

littlewonder -> RE: Some things are sacred... (6/3/2010 4:52:09 PM)

my values and ethics
Master and my child even though she drives me completely insane
anything that would be sacred to Master
and of course...God and my relationship with him.

Especially when in other threads, like in ask a sub she is cracking jokes. Lord know I love the joke crackers but someone who cracks a joke somewhere else and then comes here and is all snippy about someone else cracking a joke is really super sacred beyond sacrosanct.

subtee -> RE: Some things are sacred... (6/3/2010 5:06:26 PM)

If the intent is to find topics or subjects that are sacred as in beyond okay with joking about...then nothing.
