I can't speak for this case, but I have seen girls fired for being too attractive before.

The rationalizations and motivations varied.

I found her to look very professional. Skirts always below the knee, never too much make up. She's an attractive woman.

In Montréal, I see women who dress waaay sexier than that to go to work which I sometimes I find it to be inappropriate. But from the pics I saw on the report, she was far from inappropriate.

I guess her male managers didn't have enough boner control, so instead of dealing with their own personal issues, they decided to get rid of the problem. I say men who cannot "help themselves" should simply wear a CB2000 to work and let competent women do their jobs.

Maybe it was just a poor job performance. Some people can not handle the truth.  Her dress is rather moderate and tasteful. She may just fantasize.

I think she may have hurt her credibility a little by choosing to do the interview bra-less.

I don't have a problem with bra-lessness, but under the circumstances it was not setting a good example of her knowledge of "professional attire".

Where did you get the idea she did the interview bra-less? Because in one shot we saw a little nipple relief through her top? If a woman is not wearing a padded bra, her nipple can be seen through the bra and the shirt. I would chalk it up to being a novice in front of the camera and not realizing this would happen

Seriously. We are talking about a single mom losing a good job because her male bosses could not control their urges. Lets stick to the issues and not turn her into a whore.

Is it certain she's telling the truth? Citibank claims it is due to job performance; and, looking at her, she hardly looks like a stripper or anything, so I'm not sure she'd be canned for her dress.

Well this will all come out, I'm certain. In any case, I'm sure we haven't heard the end of this. Not that I'm going to give much credibility to MSNBC or CBS for their news reports, but unless they are trying to set-up a sensationalist debate, they should have verified the woman's claim before reporting it. I mean, that is what I learned in my few j-school courses.

The reality is, she wouldn't be the first woman being fired for this and if it were true, of course CitiBank is going to deny it.

Hmm sorry I thought the nipple thing was a little ironic also Angelika. I have no clue how good she was at her job, I know that appearance can make a difference I have been told to tone down my clothes in jobs before and am currently having issues at work because of the way I look but the company would be a little stupid to suggest that was the reason for it, the fact that she has been reprimanded for it may not be much of a link, and for her to get to the position of management she has clearly not found it to be an issue before. On the flip side there are people who get ahead because of the way that they look so I do think it could work the other way
