Of course you'll never see a Scotsman traditionally attired, wearing a dress like piece of apparel. [;)]

lol - one of the sexiest things i have ever seen was a man in a black kilt, knee high combat type laceup boots and a thick turtle neck. Made me lust just looking at him. Yum!

I think that this is a huge misconception that crossdressers aren't masculine. Most of them are just turned on by wearing women's clothes and playing the role of a woman,
but when they are not playing they are perfectly masculine - they may watch football, drink beer, be into fast cars and video games etc.

There are actually 2 types of crossdressers - those who have gender disphoria, they are feminine and they want to become woman in real life. They are transsexuals.
Yet there is the second type who are not feminine at all, who are just turned on by crossdressing and roll-playing a woman because this is a fetish for them.
In this second type almost all crossdressers are heterosexual.

And there is every color of the rainbow in-between...  I have gender disphoria, I am feminine and I don't want to become a woman in real life.  I am transsexual.

There are distinct advantages of having a girlie-boy in your service.  We tend to be emotionally open and connective very much like women are, we lift heavy things, fix things, clean things, and will go shoe shopping with you and actually be -enthused-!  If you find one that is emotionally mature, we can be very good submissives.  :)

angeldmort -> RE: Crossdressers and REAL women and LTR. (6/6/2010 5:08:33 PM)

"I looked like a girl, but with an erect dick."
My skirt just blew all over the place with that one.
I'll be honest - I haven't had the opportunity to try out a lot of things that have interested me, so I can't say that a woman in fishnets and heels, etc would have as much of an effect as a smooth shaven and skillfully painted man does. I can absolutely say that it never in my life crossed my mind and so I never imagined or fantacized about kissing  or playing with a man who looked like a woman until it actually came up, but when it did, I discovered I LOVE it!
Although I worry about my taste; the girls in the Lady Marmelade video are thrilling if I imagine them being male. Needless to say, not every man in drag will do it for me and I worry that I'm shallow...a man who told me I had to dress and primp myself like that to turn him on would get laughed out the door (I love to dress like that, I just can't take a man seriously that has to have that to want me.) I keep telling myself that if I can work my head around accepting myself for liking BDSM and crossdressing, accepting that I like the fantacy stripper look shouldn't be that much harder, especially since that's how most fetish crossdressers seem to want to look anyway.

I keep wondering if I need to try playing with a woman in the same costume and see if it's as effective, but I can't imagine telling another girl the image I like and not feeling like some sexist perverted old man. That's a level of gender bending I don't want to reach.
Kink is wearing my brain out.

You have the right to identify in any way you like, but I feel similarly, and the term I am more familiar with for folks who identify internally as cross gender but who are not transitioning or interested in transitioning is genderbent or genderqueer. I usually think transitioning when I hear the term transsexual.

LadyPact -> RE: Crossdressers and REAL women and LTR. (6/6/2010 6:46:50 PM)

I'm in the 'it doesn't turn Me on' camp.  Being straight, I'm only attracted to males and that pretty much means only males that appear male.  Yep, even that pair of pink panties is a turn off to Me.

DesFIP -> RE: Crossdressers and REAL women and LTR. (6/7/2010 5:43:35 AM)

I'm still trying to figure out what a REAL woman is. Maybe as opposed to a robot painted pink?
But the op appears to assume that all real women are dominant from the way she posed the question. If so, then obviously I'm not real or true, since I don't want to domme any man.

OttersSwim -> RE: Crossdressers and REAL women and LTR. (6/7/2010 7:34:52 AM)

So to address the OP from the perspective of a submissive girlie-boy male...

In my area of Colorado, I happen to run in these circles and actually know a number of Femdom/girlie-boy couples.  There are real live bio women out there who are dominant and who partner with femme male submissives.  Everything from the occasional crossdresser, to full transfolk.  They are a smaller subset of the population of Dommes overall, but they are out there.

And I am -real- as opposed to DesFIP, who in her 12520 posts has shown that she is a total figment of our imaginations...submissive women...HA!  No such thing!  You are all just budding dommes! [;)]

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Crossdressers and REAL women and LTR. (6/7/2010 8:08:10 AM)

For me, any disinterest in a cross dresser, wouldn't be from discomfort of giving the power to wear womens clothing to men, it'd be from an angle that I only like masculine men who look like men.

I'd be in a relationship with a Cross dresser in a heartbeat but then I have a very liberal attitude.
I'm attracted to whom I'm attracted to and I don't see gender as a limiting factor.

A tranny wanted to come to my HOME all dressed up. Sooo not cool.
I told him that he could come to MY HOME  "dressed" if I could come to HIS HOME "dressed"...carrying my bullwhip in my hand wearing MY COSTUME.

I am NOT into humiliation or having my neighbor's children exposed to men in dresses coming to see me..

DesFIP -> RE: Crossdressers and REAL women and LTR. (6/7/2010 11:56:05 AM)

How do you know he couldn't pass? Besides, person in dress and heels gets out of car, walks up steps, enters house. Are your neighbors really staring at your front door with binoculars to inspect your visitors? Most people really aren't that interested in others. They'll see a big woman and not doubt the gender at all.

Lucylastic -> RE: Crossdressers and REAL women and LTR. (6/7/2010 11:59:16 AM)

I'm very CD friendly, Trans friendly , openly enjoy them as friends, longtime friends too, my kids know some of them
also I like to see my pet dressed up  and have for 12 years now.
However, I am not into it to fuel a fantasy for just "anyone"
Assholes come in all sorts of shapes sizes and lingerie

Wow...so much to say to this post.

"Tranny" used in a way that suggests disapproval.  How is being visited by a cross-gendered person, however they identify, humiliating?  How is a male dressed as a female exposing children to anything harmful?

Seems a lot of your impressions of the cross-gendered comes from bad porn, and concepts of gay men in drag.

Because we live in the real world, and mundanes freak out and behave violently and unpredictably in response to gender transgression.  It's basically like being in a monkey cage and knowing you can't do certain things where they can see you, or the monkeys will start screaming and throwing poo.  Monkeys are silly like that, but if you live in a cage full of them and you don't want to end up covered in poo, you gotta humor the monkeys to a certain extent.

It's possible and highly desirable to train the monkeys so they become mature enough to stay calm, but it's not realistic to expect them not to scream and fling poo if you spring stuff on them without having educated them first.

No, she said a few times she is talking about genetic women, when she says real.

Well and I hope that the OP has simply got a bit overzealous in her characterizations of cross-gender folk.  We are not all freaks ready to spring on you in age inappropriate short electric blue lycra skirts, oversized boobs and Tammy Fae makeup...[8|]

Most vanillas aren't comfortable with gender transgressive acts; that's why they're vanillas.

I think it's fantastic if a man wants to be pretty in ways that are "supposed" to be feminine, or if a transgendered or genderqueer person decides to express themselves freely and proudly.  That's awesome sauce.  Also, it can be seriously fucking hot.  It does give me the creeps when a misogynistic guy clearly thinks women are a lower life form, sexually active women are the lowest life form of all, and he gets his kicks being degraded by being "forced" to be a mere female.  I honestly don't see how that can be taken as anything but negative and insulting to women.

Crossdressing itself is just fine with me, but I need to know *why* they are doing it, and I need them to take responsibility for doing it.  I don't mind helping, but don't tell me to "force" you to do something you don't have the guts to admit you like doing for its own sake.  If I think the underlying reason he crossdresses is that he's basically stuck in a male dominant mindset (eg, only women are lowly, degraded and submissive, so he has to be made feminine in order to submit), he's permanently off my personal radar.  That is so very not hot to me.

Now a pretty, genderbending boi who takes the time to look freakin' GOOD in what he puts on, oh hell yeah, give me some of that.  Extra points if he is willing to make out with other pretty bois.  That is seriously hot, and I want some.  I won't be shy about getting me some if it walks within decent propositioning range of me and my pansexual partner, as we tend to have fairly similar tastes in ladyboys.   *wicked evil grin*

quote:

Oh my gosh! You have NO idea just how much our views are the same! Well, I guess you do now beings that I've just stated as much. boi on boi or guy on guy if they're the right type or any two boys together is soooooooooooooooooo hot and suuuuuuuuch a friggin' turn on for me! I've been into anime henti yaoi for YEARS now! And I love every second of it! And when a real guy or "boi" can pull that off! OMG! I'm SO there! I LOVE anime conventions for perciecly this reason and love J-Rock and guys that crossdress. Mmmm. I met one "gril" on here that I shall not name lest "she" be offended. But she is amazing. I've had the pleasure of making friends with her and we've talked on yahoo phone chat several times over. I've even had the pleasure of having a few play sessions with her. She's amamzing. Mmmmm... I've not spoken to her for some time, but I'm sure when the time is right, we'll see each other online again. :) Until then, I will think of her often. :D

What a jolly awesome and thought inspiring post, well said. Personally I have no issues here and have had friends who were proudly either cross dressers or gay of both genders. One such was lesbian who loved to cross dress. Never looked like some anti-male butch, but more like a young male exec from some share trading company. I not only enjoyed her company socially but was proud to be seen with her too. I tried it once for a fancy dress ball and won the prize as the worst male in drag ever. But I refuse to shave so that was that and not my personal scene. I value people for who and what they are and not by what some areas of society decide they should be. The lady found she was not as hard core lesbian as she thought after she told me she wanted to experiment having sex with a male and asked me to be that male. That for me was high praise indeed.

To the OP: I understand what you are saying about being slammed and accused of advertising. However have you thought that it may not been your post as much as the way you wrote it. I think it could have been by your OP here. During my many years here on CM, I have found that people get much better responses when they ask their question followed by their current views and position on that matter. If you are seeking advise or help, then just add this to your comments about the question you have asked.

Iron Bear, once again, I love your response. And I hope that it's not in poor humor that I laugh with you at the thought of you being cross dressed and winning the award for worst crossed dressed male! LOL How wonderful that you even had the guts to do that! Hehe.

May you enjoy many more times filled with fun, laughter, and good times with great people!

Silver
