OK.  Lets just return to the topic at hand.

I never saw Soylent Green, but I have been hearing that there may be a remake of it.

and since we are mentioning conspiracy theories and movies I would like to add "Enemy of the State" I think that one made a lot of people at least raise an eyebrow.

I'd suggest that, rather than watching Solylent Green or a possible remake, you instead read Harry Harrison's fine SF novel Make Room, Make Room, on which Soylent Green was based.

Though it doesn't have the "Soylent Green is people!" line Vendavel seems to be referring to in it as that was made up for the film because they didn't want to address the real meat of Harrison's novel in that.
