This is no joke. Not in the least, and is substantiated.
But the idea was to blame it on Egypt, with whom Isreal was at war at the time. This is not Conspiracyland and I'm not taking that insinuation all that well - from anyone. This was one of this county's darkest days, in fact I consider it darker than 9/11. At least we are not sure if the WTC attack was supported by some elements of the US government. In the case of the USS Liberty there is no doubt, and it was at the highest level, the oval office. It was not incompetence, it was straight out treason.
What's more, on seconday analysis, Israel could've just contacted the US if they wanted a little privacy to take care of some dirty work. They were supposedly allies and that ship could've been ordered out of the vicinity quite easily. But the only reason for this whole thing was to set up a false flag operation, and the lives of US servicemen were considered forfeit. Those are not the actions of a leader, a leader must give a shit about those he leads. And if said "leader" doesn't give a shit about the lives of those who have pledged their lives to his service, what type of concern do you think he has for the rest of us ?
And if our leader has such a great concern for the well being of our "ally", Israel, why don't they reciprocate ? They wouldn't fucking exist if not for US support. The hubris and wreckless disregard for the common Man and/or soldier is one of the few things I find,,,,,,,,,, I just can't think of the word right now. Shit like this makes me wish there was a reall hell in which to burn these traitors. It also makes me want to relocate that planned glass parking lot in the middle east - to guess where.
And to dispute the authenticity of this "theory", go do that in front of those who survived the attack, with their discharge papers, medical records and records of service, who unanamously claim to eyewitnesses to the fact that the official record is still not set straight. Living most of their lives under a severe threat never to reveal the truth, but reconsidering due to their old age. The impetus being that the truth must come out. Why the fuck would they ALL lie at this stage of the game, with death iminent. That's almost as bad as claiming that someone's death bed statement is a lie. Sure it could happen, but what would be to gain ?
And then, another nail for the coffin - if you truly believe that these servicemen are all lying, for whatever reason, and have concocted this story about something that happened when I was six years old, you are going to have to buy into a hell of alot more conspiracy theories. Otherwise, your reasoning would have to be questioned.
So these people conspire to lie, for no personal gain while others never lie even for personal gain, despite their greed. What planet is this ?
