That would be grammar lesson.

I fail to see how enjoying the sound of the call to prayers makes someone a Muslim. Thats like saying someone who enjoys the sound of Church bells must be Christian.

Yep, I have, and I agree, and sometimes far better than an alarm clock in the morning. Bells are raucous I know because I live behind a chuch where some pillock likes to ring the bloody things on a regular basis.

The only time I don't like the call tp prayer is when it is blasted out of an electronic loud haler, as that also becomes raucous, those things do not do justice of the human voice.

But a one time pal who grew up next to a Northern town mosque used to air gun the guy with the loud haler, that was until the council erected perspex screens around the minaret dt deflect the air gun pellets.

I have, in Morocco. It can be quite moving, when the caller has a melodic voice. I have heard a shrill call to prayer that sounded like a bag of cats with Tourette's.

She heard Obama say on the campaign trail that he had visited all but 2 of our 57 states.   ....what 57? where did he get 57? ahhhh 57 states of  Islam.

He apologized to the Islamic states for American arrogance.

She saw him bow low in submission to the Islamic prince.

She heard him say the Islamic call to prayer was one of the most beautiful things he has ever heard.

He claimed he did not hear any of what Rev. Wright said in his services. (did he attend at all? is he really Christan or did he do, as many have done,   join for political gain?)

He has not attended church since he became president. Every Sunday he  apparently  plays golf.

She  does not watch or listen to any of the talk shows or fox news, hell half the time she does not even watch the local news at all...what little she does get in news is usually off the net. this is what she and her friends  have gleamed.

This reply may get modded, but do you and your daughter know any history??  In 1953 our nascent CIA and the British MI-6 at the behest of Royal Dutch Shell Oil corp, overthrew the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED premier of Iran to re-install that "pal" of the west the SHAH.  This contributed very much to the resentment held towards the west today. 

Your citing of the "57" meme is ridiculous, you ever watch the fucking video of the incident, or bother to read the transcript?  He was tired, and the actual quote would sound like it was;  a simple mistake of fifty, for forty. 

The "bowing" shit is utterly fucking stupid as well, one R. The prayer call can sound beautiful, if, as others so eloquently have pointed out, the "caller" has a good voice, but you do not get this.   If the president is a muslim, I fucking am George Clooney.  I think even YOU can see by my avatar which is also my main pic on my profile, I sure ain't George Clooney.

If he IS muslim, why is he hiding it? Something about electability? There is nothing in the Constitution that says you can't vote based on religion.

And, sure, I personally would never vote for a Muslim. But every American should care about a president who could be shown to have lied about his faith.

Adams wrote the prayer. FDR had it inscribed into the mantelpiece.
