That was an incredibly boring and irrelevant read.

Translation: I'm too lazy to think about the implications of real life studies, so I'll just dismiss it by saying it's boring, and keep on trumpeting my moral opinion while ignoring inconvenient facts.

All I am saying is that the Pros should find something more meaningful to do with their time and they would internally and mentally be more satisfied. As well as happy to boot.

Horse puckey.   Sometimes play sessions can be shallow and just for fun, whether they're personal or professional.  And sometimes they can be deeply meaningful and transformational.  If you can't find meaning in it, then don't do it.  But it's pretty damn silly to assume that everyone is going to find meaning in the same places.  The world just isn't that small of a place.

Naturally, I'm not against any consenting adults doing with their money,or bodies what they will.    I tend to think, the folks complaining, are not getting what they want for some reason, money or no money.    I might get a little judgemental if little ones, lies, or no overt consent is given by both sides (but these are besides the point).
Now, onto the new thread.    M

I'm not quite sure the fixing the car or the dentist analogies work here.  You're specifically speaking of professions where you literally have to train in order to seek work in the fields.  Also, this is different in our respective locations, as My car mechanic isn't offering a service that isn't legal and isn't regulated.

Well, here in the UK, anyone with a set of spanners and some greasy (c)overalls can set themselves up as a mechanic, and rip innocent customers off. My point was more that some people have the skills to meet their needs themselves, others pay someone to help them - but don't deserve contempt for that. And yes, car mechanics have annoying timewasting customers who want stuff fixed for nothing too.

As to your last paragraph, it goes more to the point of the original.  If such a "review" of pros would be recommended for the site, why shouldn't there be a "review" of clients as well?  Maybe it would help pros to find out who wasn't courteous or polite?  Do they have a habit of canceling their appointments at the last minute or show up smelling like they just came from the gym?

Sounds an awful lot like the blacklisting they refer to which is against TOS.

Well on Alt.com, folk can leave positive testimonials for people they have met, which is one way of getting an idea who is NOT a timewaster, fake or whatever.

I think that's true of just about every profession, no matter what it is.  Doctors go to social events and there's always one person in the crowd who wants some kind of diagnosis.  LOL.

We have that here, too.  It's called the Positive Experiences forum.  The guidelines on that are that it be people that you have met in real life that happen to have a profile on CM.

Once again, this comes from personal experience. i have visited professional Domme's, both male and female. The reason one seeks a professional is just that , someone with experience who knows what they are doing and can do it with safety in mind.

Not trying to anger or judge anyone but again, in my experiences, the male dominants seem ( and again only my opinion) to take the sessions more seriously. They tend to be better at restraining, they tend to discipline harder, and there is less dialogue with male dominants.

This sub is gay so that may color my impressions but, most male dominants i have visited have been heterosexual. i have also found that straight men seem to be much better at bondage and discipline than gay men.
