Who likes to dance? What kind of dance? Are you disappointed if you're with someone that doesn't dance?

I do like to dance.  In the past 10 years- I don't tho- due to injuries.  I was quite good at it.

Back when I did dance it was a disappointment when others did not.  Tho- the house music- disco mix type- one can not have a partner.

I have two left feet and I'm the most clumsy person on the planet so it's not a big deal to me to be with someone if they don't dance.

Oh man, dancing is my sanity.  I went last night, heard a great old rock/blues group right up the road.  Mostly, it is the women who dance, except the slow stuff.  I dance alone if I have to, either on the dance floor or at the table.

It was nice when I was seeing someone and could dance against his leg while he sat behind me, then have "cum now" whispered in my ear.....haha nothings perfect though!  I work with what I have now.

Anyhow, give me a small buzz and some good music, I am a happy camper.  Going to hear a different band next Friday!

pahunk, I could never do the disco/fast song thing, I'm just not good enough.

littlewonder, setting aside being "clumsy", do you enjoy trying to dance? Slow dances are good for dual-left footed types, I've found

I love dancing! My husband does not. We took a country swing dance class together once years ago. It was my attempt to compromise, since he likes listening to country music and I don't. He didn't much like dancing country swing, sadly.

With no partner to dance with, I go do dance-aerobics classes at my gym. Salsa, disco, belly dancing, hip-hop. I am also taking a hip-hop dance class. I adore it, and I'm intimidated at the same time. I am not very gangsta looking, and my knees hurt afterwards. Anyway, the instructor wants us to perform eventually. A hip-hop dance troupe made up of a bunch of suburban white ladies. Ha!

Only one of my kids got my genes. The boy enjoys ballroom!!!

The only dancing I do is playing Dance Dance Revolution. =)

As far as 'actual' dancing goes, I just haven't done it, and don't encounter opportunities to do it / learn how / whatever... So fnord.

Not really. I get self conscious knowing I'm tripping all over the place. I enjoy an occasional slow dance with a man who I adore and I can snuggle into so I don't have to think about whose watching lol.

January, I find women to be more courageous when it comes to dance. That makes you honorary gangsta

Fnord, ya gotta make the opportunity to learn, or at least give it a shot!

littlewonder lol, I do understand how you feel. Most of my dancing is the type you mentioned, I call it "rhythmic upright snuggling"

Ballroom dancing I did for 18 years, taught ballroom, latin and back then all the "disco dances" I love to dance still but mostly vertical writhing in Levels position
hehehhe
My knees suffered as a result, but still love to sway and lose myself to a beat

kallisto, a dominant that whispers lines from a Prey nove, while holding you close on the dance floor?

Bent, I hugely admire those that are skilled dancers, especially the ballroomers.

It's impossible to have a drop of Latin blood in your veins and have no sense of rhythm and not know how to roll your hips.
