I'm not insecure enough about my gender to be offended if people would mistake me for somebody of the opposite sex, for whatever reason they might do so. i didn't mean physically mistaken for a male... i meant online based upon the content of your words (without your picture). i wouldn't be offended if my words were mistaken as me being female, but if it was based on physical appearance, then yeah.
