Status: offline 		I am not meaning to bash how anyone else conducts themselves but it may seem like it. All I am trying to do is understand why people are acting as they do. To quote a email that a friend received, "Bow down to my dick you sub slut." Besides the basically being rude and a little too over bearing I do not understand this approach. First off does it even work?  If it does that would be amazing and I would be the first person to jump on the band wagon.  My main confusion from this is a philosophical one. In any arrangement, BDSM or not, a shift in power always begins with the parties involved coming to an agreement, (contract). If this is the cause then a person on this site that  is listed as a submissive is really not in a submissive mode yet per-say but merely stating their intentions of submissiveness. This would be the intention to submit to someone of their fancy not the statement that they are a floorboard. Yeah that's pretty much it. Again this is not meant to be an accusing moment I just wish to understand.

It's the internet.  Some people are dumb enough to try that kind of thing because they think it works.

In other words...........

Just hang a big, neon sign that says, "NO REAL TIME EXPERIENCE IN BDSM" on your forehead because it couldn't be more obvious to the rest of us.

Status: offline 		It is quiet funny with all this stuff. All the people I have eventually made my submissive I have met in person. I have met a lot of great friends online just no one near meeting that capacity. In general, I think it is a lot harder to exude dominance online then in person. I had little to no belief that this way about it worked. It would have been nice though I am fairly certain I could come up with even more ridiculous shit then that, lol.

Actually, no, not at all.
The club I went to last weekend is notorious for having a lot of cross dressers come there... and has the longest lines at the female restrooms that you've ever seen.

I did what I generally do in any club in such a case, and used the men's room instead.
However, because of the nature of this club, the fact that I did so made several people assume over the course of the night that I was either a post-op or a cross dresser, neither of which offended me in the least.

I'm not insecure enough about my gender to be offended if people would mistake me for somebody of the opposite sex, for whatever reason they might do so.

Status: offline 		Don't get me wrong I would love to hear it. This stuff is funny, I just wish I could talk to people like this but being list as I am I do not get too many messages like that. In general I am just trying to get in the thought process. Inexperience and delusion seems, to me at least, makes up the vast majority of it.

i didn't mean physically mistaken for a male... i meant online based upon the content of your words (without your picture). i wouldn't be offended if my words were mistaken as me being female, but if it was based on physical appearance, then yeah.

I constantly get mistaken for a male when textual expression is all people have to go on and there are no pictures or profiles present.
I have a very logical and analytical style of communication, and thus people often assume it's a guy's stuff they are reading.

Neither physically, or conceptually being mistaken for a man offends me in the slightest.

given that i've read the word "misogyny" more times today that in my entire life combined, im surprised that people aren't lambasting you for stereotypically ascribing logical/analytical as traits unique to men.

i accounted for that, but considering i have serious doubts that they specified they mistook you based on your logical/analytical style, im pretty comfortable assuming that you made that conclusion independently....
