I`ve never lumped anyone together.My rants have been against individuals.They just happen to be mostly republicans.Just reading the news,sorry if that seems one sided.

Unfortunately for your favorite defendees,they seem to be getting caught fucking gay hookers,buying street drugs or having UMs out of wedlock,all the while towing the party line about higher moral values and "God`s Own Party",etc.

Go ahead,defend rush the bigot.Just don`t be surprised if you get flack for it.

When that dem was caught with bribe money in his freezer,we didn`t defend him or claim it was his political enemy's were trying to smear him(like so many repubs are on the record as doing,just before admitting to a crime,an affair or gay hooker sex) We said good bye and get a good lawyer.One of our best leaders in history,Nancy Pelosi,showed him the door.

Not always but often enough to be noted,God`s Own Party defends and coddles their criminals,unless they are so egregious that even the 17%ers are to embarassed by them.Mark Foley comes to mind.He was shielded by Dennis Hastert for years after learning about Foley`s "proclivities".

Hastert is no Nancy Pelosi.The dems and republicans are not the same.There is a difference and I enjoy pointing that out.

Your sentences are getting longer tho.The 1st couple years,all you did was suggest we not listen to rush if we found him so offencive.

Bullshit on yourself. Sitting members of the United States Senate or House of Representatives who were members of the KKK. Byrd is all alone in that category, whether he took the sheets out of the closet and put them back on the bed or not.

You should have stopped right there.

Here's a little exercise for people who actually think, rather than just regurgitate. Look up the obits on Strom Thurmond, and see what importance his opposition to the Civil Rights Act was given as part of the story. Then read the obits on Byrd, and compare.
