Hey, thanks for calling me out. I generalized and you nailed me cold.And on a point I happen to feel pretty strongly about. A slave isn't helpless, and, as you aptly pointed out, no dominant can be with her 100% of the time. It's on her to be capable of protecting herself when it comes to many of the forces that blow through our lives. I like strong, vibrant, women capable of standing on their own two feet.

I've never noticed someone of the dominant pursuasion being any more or less protective than anyone else. To me, it's another one of those basic human drives that would seem almost instinctual. People are protective and defensive (when need be) of those they love and care about.

Physically protection isn't required here. It's a small town and I live out in the back of beyond, up a mountainside. I can leave the doors wide open all day and night and not worry. But emotionally protective? Absolutely. We are each other's safe harbors.
