1) they seem to have considered their positions and based them on evidence
2) they seem to adopt positions that serve the majority rather than a minority

2. Short term for Republicans: 2-3 months. Short term for Democrats: 3-4 YEARS. Long Term for Republicans 2-3 years. Long Term for Democrats, 20-50 YEARS. Now then, who thinks on long term problems and solutions?

Clinton left a budget surplus when he left office. Do you have anybody else who's managed that in the last thirty years?
Excellent diplomat, did a decent job of exploiting the dot.com boom, got his cock sucked at the taxpayer's expense, didn't have anybody burning flags outside of the American embassy in London, made less of a tit of himself in Bosnia than Bush managed in Iraq and Afghanistan (or Reagan managed almost everywhere), didn't have any ugly buildings in New York knocked over during his watch. You've had worse Presidents.
