Status: offline 		I wouldn't say the "I've got a headache" thing is complete bullshit, more a matter of not realizing how it can help.

I get migraines and both masturbation and sex can be very helpful. Caveat about the sex though....sex to cure a headache is not "all the bells and whistles" type of sex. No energy for foreplay (doesn't help the pain), sucking a cock could make the pain worse. So basically it is get in there, get the orgasm and then go away, lol.

Yeah, that's usually the only time I do it alone anymore (that's not to say I don't do it, just not alone), when I am stressed. Despite the fact that my hormones give me the libido of 10 average women for 3/4's of the month, I just don't get much out of it alone anymore. Sorry to disappoint.

Edited to add: orgasms can also be a great relief for menstrual cramping. I wish it helped me sleep, I have horrible insomnia, I'd be masturbating like a fiend! Orgasming tends to make me wired rather than helping me get drowsy.

I have gone through periods since my divorce where it was easier to turn my sensuality all the way off for months, even more than a year once.  Once it is turned off, for me anyhow, I am good.  Once it gets turned back on, well, its on and sometimes ya just get tired of having to talk nice to you and do all the foreplay and hell ya run outta ideas and the porns boring and... well...anyhow.

To tell the truth, I couldn’t even begin to think about sex with some of my headaches. I am sure that the outcome would be the same, headache relief but it would be too much energy to actually engage in sex... I can bring myself to orgasm rather quickly by putting a vibrator in just the right area and thinking just the right thought. Rather little energy expanded and I can do the entire thing in a pitch black room with little or no noise. (At the same time I know my body well enough that when not masturbating for medical reasons I can play just the right way and keep myself on edge forever.) But to have sex, a lot more energy, that when I’m really having a bad headache, I just dont have, needs to be expended AND there is another person to worry about satisfying. Not something I really feel up to when in the throws of a really bad migraine.

Status: offline 		Really? The not tonight I have a headache line.. err.. explanation... err.. reason.. is that the sex more often than not does not result in satisfaction for her. Plenty of women just want to get it done fast and move on with their evening, but if they can avoid it, all the easier.
And some women really do have headaches. I am not one of those. I think I have had 3 headaches in my life and they were always associated with head colds. No way would I have been having sex then. Bending to give that BJ would have made me clench my teeth down hard!

LOL I felt the same way at first too, but at the same time, I really do think this is an important issues, and orgasms really do help with a lot of things because of the chemicals they release into the brain, so I to, decided to leave shame at the door and participate in the thread :D

I was aware that she had plenty of people to take care of this for her and trust me, I wouldn't mind being in her shoes and having at least one person (which is really all I want) to take care of that for me, too.  I would probably masturbate a hell of a lot less, too!

Once I got the timing wrong, and was sincerely wishing to die.  There ain't enough Vicodin for a headache like that!

We;d been running around all day, I was tired, the nap I tried to get in didn't help very much there. This headache had been brewing for hours, Well yeah, I got a raging headache, and then my partner had the balls to say I only get headaches when it's convenient for me. IE when I want to go home because I am bored with the shopping he wants to do, or when I  just want to get my own way.

Needless to say, that didn't go over to well.
