ORIGINAL: Owner59 And by republican officials, elected and appointed. I understand if this tread might get pulled. But I still have to ask. Why is this man given any credibility and or attention? http://www.spin.com/articles/rock-n-roll-hall-sleaze " Ted Nugent Madman; carnivore Best described as: Maniacal Claim to eternal infamy: Though best known today as a guy who'd rather be bow-hunting, the Nuge cut a wide swath through the untamed pubic hair of the 1970s. His crowning achievement occurred in 1978, when Nugent became the legal guardian of a 17-year-old Hawaiian girl" http://www.activemusician.com/Ted-Nugent-Biography--t8i2885 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Nugent Owner, couldn't you ask the same question about Woody Allen? He's a "darling" of the left. And if memory serves, Bill Clinton likes 'em "young" too. Then you`re agreeing with me, concerning uncle teddy. Personally,I can`t watch a Woody Allen movie any more.I used to love them. From "Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex But Were Afraid To Ask" and Sleeper all the way up to "Annie Hall"The guy made good art.But I don`t see him on left TV or moralizing, though. It`s the hypocrisy folks can`t stand. I turn the radio when I hear Jackson Brown(beating his g/f to a pulp),Michael Jackson(nuff said) or uncle teddy(same). Another I can`t watch anymore.Mel Gibson(racist) , I also don`t like what Clinton did either and have said so.It was very selfish and immature and destructive. When people sum Clinton or Sen. Byrd or anyone else up,I don`t think anyone deserves a pass.Their positive traits are matched against their flaws.Good works against mistakes. When people consider those mis-deeds Pop,they also take into account contrition and taking responsibility and such. But no one should escape scrutiny for what they did,15 years ago of 55 years ago. The same goes for uncle ted. Owner, Robert "Sheets" Bird was (((47))) years old when he voted against the Civil Rights Act! We're not talking about a "youthfull discretion" here! As for Clinton, what did he ever do that was "good" for the country? "Nafta?" "Bosnia?" "Kosovo?" Did he catch Bin Laden when he had him in his grasp? There's another post about rating the presidents. If I were Nixon's ghost I'd be happy that there were other presidents like Clinton, Carter, Wilson, LBJ. and Bush-3!
