Once I wrote a last minute paper for her, and I really didn't have time to do much research so I basically repeated the same things over and over in different ways, and she gave me the paper back and told me if I needed an extension I could have one but she was not going to accept that paper from me. Lawl. I think 98% of our class hated her and 2% loved her. She was one of those tough teachers that really does have a lot to teach to people willing to pay attention.

I think Jeffff just made a new friend...[:D] The one word that I HATE to see used incorrectly is "discrete" instead of "discreet". And misplaced apostrophes. I'm ok if apostrophe's are missing, but if they are there but in the wrong place, it's like chewing on aluminium foil...grrrrrr...

I try not to get bothered by what is on the net, here or otherwise. People are imperfect, as a rule, not everyone can or should live up to another persons standard. There are times when my fingers fly so fast errors are made, it happens. I try to correct myself, but often I am sneaking online in a few spare moments during my day and don't always have time for proof reading. I am not sure where the future will lead us, with text speak and slang, but I feel like my grandmother wagging a finger and talking about "in my day" all the time, :) Bottom line, how someone else types, speaks or generally conveys a point, isn't worth my time to critique. I have more pressing things to be concerned with, such as trying to complete the task of painting our deck in triple digit heat! Lisa

Have you noticed that when someone asks a question and someone answers it a third or forth person will then come along and say exactly the same thing in a ever so slightly different way? What is that all about, how many same answers does a person need? It's like we are talking to elderly people with hearing problems, I say it's like we are talking to elderly people with hearing problems.

I'm talking more about common sense or common knowledge questions such as "How do I do this on this site?" or "Why is this happening when I do this bla bla bla?" Questions that there are only one answer for. I understand sometimes two people post at once or some people posting don't read what others have written but it seems more widespread than those occurrences.
