Glasgow, when I lived at home with my mom and stepfather I never went through any of the "usual" teenager stages. Mom made it clear to me that the moment I turned 18, the moment I graduated, or the moment I had sex...I would be an adult and have to move out and support myself.
If I had dared to climb out a window, I would likely have been tossed out on my arse. I really don't understand the defiance and attitude problem I see that seems so common now. My own 20 year old son, who lives with me, gives me no attitude and does as he is told the the best of his ability. He doesn't sass me either.
If your sibs have access to your computer, then in a way it's a family computer...do not go to sites that would force your parents to put a kid's protection lock on it against going to any porn or BDSM sites just to protect your younger sibs. It is your responsibility to protect vanillas from an information overload, and surprise surprise, to protect minors from viewing BDSM and porn. It doesn't matter if they were your sibs, it doesn't matter if they broke into your private room and invaded your own personal computer. Learn to use passwords, or to not do certain things on a family computer.
BDSM will still be waiting for you after graduation and when you have your own private apartment...if this is in your blood, then it will be your own Hotel California just like it is mine.
Btw, you're 18. Your parents owe you nothing, not even a mention in their will.
If mine had allowed me to stay at home while they paid to put me through college, I would have gotten down on my knees and kissed their asses until my lips bled.
Instead I had the joy of working full time at a night job and attempting to pay my own way through college. I failed to keep my grades up, as to get into a veterinary college I had to maintain at least a B.
Drop BDSM if it bothers them, and concentrate on making them get their money's worth with your education, so you are not lost among the multitudes vying for scarce, part time minimum wage jobs.
Glasgow, I let a homeless friend camp out in my junk room years ago. I told him no porn magazines. Period. He disobeyed me twice. The first time, after he went out on some errand, I went through the room and confiscated them and threw them in the dumpster. He whined, and I read him the riot act, that if I found even one in my home again, out he goes on his arse. It was the dead of winter. A few weeks later, my little kid comes up to me with a wide open porn magazine, eyes really wide. Yes, I tossed the friend out onto the streets and when he almost froze to death I still wouldn't let him move back in...it was good for him. He survived. He learned that when I said something, I meant it, and he learned to mind his manners when he was a guest in someone else's home.
(Sorry if I assumed wrong that your parents are putting you through college, I just seem to remember your mentioning something like this in another thread and I'm too lazy to look it up.)
