Thank you so much Willow!  The one kitteh trying to grab my keyboard is Squeaks...she is a very demanding littel Princess when she wants attention!  The pair is the infamous KB and Boo.....KB is the one on top, he's such a good mama to his brothers!  Boo is my little independent kitteh, he decides when he wants his luvin'!  Smooch found that crook in a tree at my mom's house....it became his favorite chillin' place.  He'd get up there, and be so still that birds would still land in the tree....of course, once they realized that he was a live cat, they'd some shooting out, perch in the tree next to him and bitch and holler a warning to all the other birds!  Boo and Smooch are the brothers, KB the oldest, and Squeaks the newest little (NOT!  I think she's a Norwegian Forest cat or Maine Coon) addition to our kitteh household.

And I try not to have a favorite.....not that it's easy!  I luv 'em all to death!

Lally, what a beautiful animal!  At least he doesn't roll on you!  My cousin had one that would do that if she thought the water was deep enough!  But we'd take them swimming in a place that had a really deep creek, w/o saddles and they'd both get in there and play like little kids!  Course, we were right there too splashing and playing with them.

The piccie reminds me of the last and only time I ever went horse riding. I was about 20 yo. I put one foot in the stirrup, stood up, and threw the other leg over the horse, and flopped my arse John Wayne style in the saddle and landed on my nuts. Ouchies. I got off, threw up, and that was the end of me horse riding.

when i bought him seven years ago as a three year old he was the ugliest horse id ever seen!! - all legs and head but he had the biggest personality that just overwhelmed me.  people said 'what the hell have you bought!!' - and now you see he's all growed up and is beautiful.

he has never ever ever tried to roll.  his back legs and supporting front are totally braced for the purpose of splashing as hard as he can, and when he's splashed long enough with one foot he swops over to the other one.  he can go on and on for ages doing that.

and thanks, im really proud of him - he's such a honey too.  id love to take him swimming. a friend of mine has suggested we box them to a beech about 20 miles away - i cant wait and ill get some pics of that too - whenever it happens, hopefully this summer, we'll see.  he's never seen the ocean, so itll be really funny to see his reaction.

I am reminded of a horse I used to have that also loved to do the very same. I loved taking her to the river on a hot summer day. We both got soaked. She also loved to swim. Swimming a horse is an exhilarating experience, especially the very first time.

id really love to, its totally on my list - i never ever have and since zig loves the water so much, i think we'd have a great time.  nice to hear of another horse being as potty about water.  ive never come across it before.  but we're starting a trend now.  horses that come riding with us are begining to join in - though most of them end up trying to roll.
