My first Himalayan (years ago) was named Mr. Victor Whiskers. He was a great cat!

He is my first, blushes, and SUCH a stinker, but my little love.  He was sick and emaciated when I first brought him home from the shelter...I tried to attach his "before" picture here but it said the file was too big. The change is remarkable.

He has one blue eye and one yellow eye.  I have to find a better picture of him.

Ok, my favorite is the one driving the car. Must be real handy when you just want to run in the store.

And last but certainly not least ... Dobby!

Cuddle slut and ruler of all he surveys.

He is the shop cat I have half shares in.
Lives at the shop, and greets everyone who enters.

The dogs and the birds all live at home, and get along famously.
We can usually be found all curled up on the lounge together, the kid, the dogs, the birds and me.

Fitzroy is a lot bigger than when we first got him. He weighed one pound at the time and was two months old. He is now four months old and weighs five pounds, eight ounces!

You know, Blushes, if I was told to pick random things and arrange them in a way that represented "Blushes" this is probably exactly what I would have chosen!

Okay, I don't know if the pic will work or not...never posted one before, but this is Max. Sorry, no "cute" pics of him, but probably the best, most people friendly, least aggressive dog I've ever had. Very much a "people" dog. He used to be my dad's dog, and I inherited him when my dad died a few years ago. My dad had a neighborhood school bus stop in front of his house and Max would have to go greet all the kids every morning. All of them knew Max and would yell, "Hi Max" when they would walk by, but most of the kids we didn't know at all, but they knew and loved Max!

Don't know why it is, but if I lay down and go to sleep, no problem. If I sit up and am awake, no problem. But if I am sitting up and fall asleep he will bark at me to wake me up.

One of his favorite things to do is to gnaw the caps off of empty plastic water and soda bottles. If there is anything in them he will leave them alone. But give him an empty one and he loves to take the cap off. Once the cap is off he has no further interest in either the bottle or the cap.

If a stray neighborhood dog comes in the yard he will bark to let me know there is a visitor, but he will leave the stray alone until I either yell at the dog or tell Max to "get him". But don't worry. Max will chase the intruder until he catches up to him, then turn and look at me like, "What do I do now?"

Edited to add...I see the pic didn't come through. I'll try again later.

hey, go to the gold my profile link top right this page, slosh around in there, find the signature block, right above it is  a BUTTON called PGD Code, it tells you all the sexy shit you can do here, but in your case, rather than write that out you want to look just below your post as you are posting it, click here to upload, select and then check embed picture in post. That's what I did. Even got a box saying the pic had uploaded successfully, but it didn't show up.
