Yes, Tank is 125 lbs of 100% big and clumsy dog while Rani on the other hand is a feminine and dainty princess who sits like a lady and eats like a lady. It's like there is a person trapped inside of her. Rani came first and she really looked almost offended when I brought Tank home. Now they are inseparable, of course. They are both rescues but Tank is definitely my special needs baby. He has a bit of brain damage from the abuse of his former life and he's like a forever puppy. Rani, in contrast, is probably the smartest dog I have ever owned and she looks out for her "brother".

Hi

Get yourself a junk email address from hotmail or yahoo. Go to your junk mail and send a mail to your main address and attach the photo of interest. The photo will automatically be resized. Now go get your mail from your main address. Save the photo to your desktop. Now come back in here and try again. It should work.

Good luck s2s

LaT.....I see that your babies also use your bed as their wrestling arena......my kittehs like to use mine as a launching pad...usually when I'm deep asleep in the middle of it!  Talk about an eye opener!

Our dog likes to beg permission to get into the bed, which is silly, cause she knows she's welcome on the bed.

Well her most annoying times to beg permission is when we're asleep already, or just falling asleep. We try to get her to jump up, and say come on, good doggie come here yes you can jump up,  all things she would respond to normally, and she still cries and whines to be let into the bed, forcing you to sit up and pat the bed. Or move some blanket she imagines is in her way.

Only one gets to actually sleep on the bed with me. The little red head. For the very reason that ratty old coverlet is on top of the quilt......dog hair, grass, whatever else they track in. I don't want it in my bed.

That is so sad that Tank was abused:(
He looks like such a beautiful boy, but clearly life may have started out rough for him, but he is sitting in clover now.
Awesome job on the rescue mist!

The dog I had was also abused, but he had the sweetest disposition.....he was a "free to a good home" newspaper dog who was rescued from the pound by someone who ended up getting a job in sales with a lot of travel...she hated to send him to a kennel.  I got him when he was 2, and had him for about 12 years....he was the greatest dog ever!  Could spot a sucker  coming a mile away....and knew how to play us!  For example...I returned home from OK with Shiloh in tow and was staying with my parents til I got the job I moved home for.  They were OTR truckers, and since Shiloh had only met them twice before, I left him outside on the day they were due home cuz I was at work.  I knew if he was inside the house, he wouldn't let them in, but if they let him in, it'd be fine.  Well, it was early November, it had snowed, but was about 40 when I left for work, so I put a thermal shirt over him so he wouldn't get cold.....yeah, gimme a break here, I didn't want him to shiver.....anyway, my parents got home about 30 minutes after I left, and were bringing everything in from the truck.  Shiloh couldn't see them, so he was just playing in the snow....mom said he was having a great time....but as soon as he saw her, he ran up on the porch, sat down, and started to shiver...can you believe it?  She said he had the pathetic little doggy eyes working and everything....she was hooked too!  (At least I come by my suckerness honestly!  She keeps specific treats in the house for each and every dog that visits!)  He latched on to my dad....loved to be where ever he was.  And my dad used to wait til Shiloh was asleep, and if he was outside, he'd knock on the window to wake Shiloh up.....he'd be barking and running before he hit the ground again!  One night, Shiloh was sleeping next to my mom when Dad did it....got both my mom AND the dog!!!  I laughed my ass off!

'Course, payback is a bitch....one night, ny dad was asleep on the couch (his pre-bedtime nap), and Shiloh came in from outside and walked over to my dad and touched his arm with his ice-cold nose.....my dad shot up off the couch so fast, Shiloh jumped back and barked at him!  Again, I laughed my ass off!  (My dad wakes up violently jerking when he's surprised....that alone is worth a laugh!)
