Why don`t you share with us, what it was Sharrod said that makes you think her comments and phrasing to be racially and POLITICALLY charged. Do you think they were? Yes, I do. She's discussing the republicans and how mean spirited they are because they have a black president. She can't be politically sided as a civil servant. Now, I'm watching her on The View, and she claims it was about poor people. So why mention Obama's color?

What people on both sides of the fence seem to forget is that O'Reilly is a news commentator, an analyst. He's not considered a reporter anymore. He comments on the news...hence news commentator. He's also talking about himself to sell books, pitch his tour with Beck, get money for charities, etc. There's nothing wrong with that. I think what he did was acceptable. I felt the same way as he did. Her language is very racially and politically charged, and for that reason alone, she should be looked at. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He`s neither. He`s an entertainer. This is why Obama said the foxnews was yes a media outlet,but not a news outlet. They don`t report the news. They take news stories and spin them to cater to conservative audiences. Or create fake news stories like Obama is a secret Muslim/Arab/foreigner/etc or the fake ACORN story and the fake black panthers outrage and this latest fake story. They are not in the business of informing people.More like mis informing. Now, everyone has the right to be mis informed but you can`t call it news. Everyone has the right to their own opinions but not your own set of facts. If you think Fox news didn`t deliberately smear this good woman to score political points,you`re naive. If you think fox just haplessly found this on the ground and didn`t knowingly participate in smearing this woman,you`re not paying attention. Fox knows who they got that tape from.They know what breitbrat is about.fox does not get a pass.Roger Ailes,former GOP campaign manager,who runs foxnews did this on purpose and with malice .Sending out pusillanimous pipsqueak like O`Reilly to half apologize, doesn`t fool anyone. They don`t get a pass,they don`t collect $200,they go past go and straight to jail.[:D]

I`ll recap She at the age of 17,on the night of her father`s murder(a real one,not like TV)at the hands of the klu klux klan(the real one,not like on TV) decided not to move north,as so many blacks did to escape the klan and other outrages. I bet you didn`t see it on foxnews but the klu klux klan are domestic terrorists who`s primary targets were(are) black people(or what bigots define black people as).At that time,blacks were lynched,farms.homes set ablaze,attacked and shunned.Any means legal and illegal were(are) used to hurt blacks or anyone bigots thought was black.It was a war zone.Ethnic cleansing and un punished murders. Her thought at the time(a teenager)of her pop`s death, was to stay and help black folks who couldn`t or wouldn`t move north. She got a job in the 80s working for a non-profit org who attempted to help poor folks and blacks. And that`s what she did.She helped farmers mostly. In the tape she admits with real honesty that she stayed in the south to help black folks but that God puts things in your path change you.What that thing was for here, was the 1st white farmer she was refereed to for her help. She recalls that the farmer talked down to her.Not an extraordinary proposition or out of the question.One of my customers,a black landlord with multiple rentals still gets slighted every week b/c he`s black.Happens all the time and not just between races. But that in spite of the farmers behavior and in spite of her feelings for whites,she did everything she could to help them,sticking with the case and making sure it was handled all the way to it`s end. The moral of the story is that she rose above her dark side broke a cycle of hate and found it wasn`t about black and white but about helping poor people.To which she got the Amen. She was recalling all those feelins and thoughts and conflicts in her NAACP talk that fox distorted and you believed.Or still believe.Or have doubts about.Which is just where rightist media want`s you.

FR Of course, what has completely been lost in all of this is the simple truth of that original post. When Sherrod is telling the story of deciding just how much help the white farmer is going to get, the NAACP audience just chuckles along in delight.

In case that isn't clear enough for you.....let me rephrase.In a climate where you and other wing nuts try to link the White House to a purported "cover-up" over the Justice Dept's decision not to pursue criminal charges in the New Black Panther case(by the way is it really true that this silly scary org.actually has a total of gasp 12 fucking members?)has fostered a climate of hyper sensitivity on behalf of the WH where issues of race are concerned?
