Distance sucks. Moving sucks. Why does distance HAVE to involve moving to stop sucking so badly?

I hate the thought of moving so I can feel for ya...When I have to move it's almost like I'm being thrown in a wind tunnel...I feel so lost and disoriented...I am the type of person who perfers to stay put...

I have to rant..I have a friend who is pissed off cause he got a woman pregnant and she should just "get an abortion" cause he can't afford a child....[:@] he should have thought about that BEFORE having unprotected sex with her...

The sad part is that today i sat with him for over two hours trying to talk some sense into him...only to find out that talking to a tree would have made more sense[&:]

He doesnt sound overly mature. How old is he?
Maybe he is just panicking at the moment and will calm down and think rationally later. Maybe the girl in question wont want the baby either?

That is why I have such an open communication with my boys...I am gonna make sure they grow up knowing the pains of being a woman lol....My oldest son told me "no kids til after his career and he's married" and my 9 yr old said "no kids cause women are dumb" lol...i hope they keep that mind set for awhile...you worry so much about them...My friend told me that if she had the baby he would sign away his rights which probably would be for the best....that was his final decision..he just doesn't have the heart to tell her....being a man is so hard lol NOT

Don't know about NJ, but in VA, and many others, a person can't just sign away their parental rights unless there is going to be a step-parent adoption or something of the like.  It would be too easy to rid themselves of child support obligations and the courts do not find that severing that tie to the other parent to be in the best interest of the child.  The other alternative is that both parents are going to place the child up for a full adoption.  Just sayin'...  they're in for a long, bumpy road...  [8|]
