Status: offline 		How stupid am i? What's worse, He already has a girlfriend- another girl who works there. i'm pretty sure He's a Dom. He told me He likes the idea of torturing people. They broke up. Then they got back together. Then they broke up. Then they got back together. Somewhere in there, i told her i liked Him. She's kind of my friend; i didn't want to have secrets. But now they're back together, and i feel like the stupidest person alive. Don't worry, nothing's going to happen. i think He just likes fucking with me. i think He gets His kicks that way. Anyway, i feel stupid. STUPID. Any comments? Besides how stupid i am, i already know that.

Don't feel stupid Pam.

We've all made mistakes but I'm not seeing where you've done that..You expressed yourself in regards to your feelings..It sucks anytime we put ourselves out there and it's not returned.

At least you were brave enough to do it.

Hopefully it doesn't turn into a mess though.

From a practical standpoint this isn't benefiting you at all. Having been in your shoes with a high level executive I don't advise that you sleep with him. In my situation he was enamored and wanted to 'mold' me. He was older and saw my 'potential' and didn't hide his interest. But I operate in dollars and cents and sleeping with someone usually will compromise that in a manner I wouldn't enjoy.

However, he spoke my language and offered positions that he felt would make me happy. The first was in his office in North Carolina. I declined. The next was of my own choosing in another department he was creating. I turned that down as well. My solution was leveraging my position and getting what I wanted in compensation with decreased office time and a position elsewhere should I desire to take it. I was able to do this because I knew what he wanted, had proven my ability to deliver, and wasn't thinking with my crotch. I think you're his rebound and even if it goes sour you'll pay a bigger price than he would. I'd avoid it and find another distraction instead.

Status: offline 		pam, I cannot believe that he likes the idea of torturing people.  I'm going to have to assume that he meant that like, "I like to keep people waiting on the phone".  If he meant anything else by it, that's completely inappropriate to say and makes me question his judgment.

What qualities in a man ring your chimes?  He's completely off limits - he's your boss, and anything with him would likely cost you your friendship with his gf.  As well as your job.

Its not stupid to be having these types of thoughts. Many of us have had an inappropriate fantasy (or 5) playing out in our heads, especially involving people who have a form of authority over us. What concerns me is that he seems to enjoy eliciting this feeling from you. I cant imagine this transpiring into anything positive, even if you dont sleep with him. Any chance of you updating your resume and removing yourself from the potential drama that will erupt once your friend finds out he has been doing this?
