I guess the 75% of the people who voted are just ignorant, racist Cracka's[8|]

I see the usual suspects are against the people of Missouri having the CHOICE of opting out of Obamacare, OR receiving Obamacare if they so choose.

Mike, you're the idiot, not the 75% or Missourians.

I have no idea subrob...you would probably be in a better position to make that call.....after all recognising one's own kind is fairly easy,isn't it?
If that wasn't clear enough asshole....I just called you a racist cracker [8|].
Have a nice day [:)]

I doubt very much that 70% of those voting for this referendum have insurance. The issue is states rights and they do not want the feds dictating what they have to buy.
Servant you are vieing for the "biggest idiot" on the boards award.The issue is not,and never has been "states rights".By the way dragging out that "states rights" bullshit hasn't worked when the issue was secession over slavery or the desire to maintain "colored" water fountains.Federal Supremacy is well established and makes the Missouri proposition un fucking Constitutional.
Stop parroting every bullshit line you are fed by rightwing assholes.....you are making CWA members look bad with your idiocy!

The problem you fail to realize is, the health care problem *ISNT* simple.

Joe...why?....the answers are simple and should be... I am not criticizing any view but to me special interests, either political or medical , are making something simple complicated.

It should be… your sick… your medical bills are covered… All you need is one agency controlled by voters to determine what is and how much is covered …or the ability to find this information up front and choose competitively from private insurers.

Plain and simple.

Butch

To put it a bit differently, the details arent simple, the big picture is. and that big picture is that Obamacare is an insurance bill not a healthcare bill. It will spill over into healthcare only on a secondary level in the form of a redistribution of health care expenditures, favoring some procedures and disfavoring others. Ie rationing by fiat, not by the market.

slvemike4u -> RE: Proposition C in Missouri (8/5/2010 12:51:44 PM)

Bullshit.....as is your fealty to the all mighty "market".

Have you been deceived at some turn?Were you not promised change?
Did you not realise that Health Care reform was on the agenda?Did you not have an opportunity to vote?
Elections have consequences asshole....deal with it!

And you're nothing but a jack booted fascist, willing to exchange everyone's personal rights to worship at the ass of Obama, nice brown shirt you got there, douchebag.

Shit subrob it's a little late in the game for you to go and try to be nice to me.But thanks for the sentiment...it is appreciated [:)]

Owner59 -> RE: Proposition C in Missouri (8/5/2010 2:47:48 PM)

I wonder,does Missouri have mandated car insurance?

kdsub -> RE: Proposition C in Missouri (8/5/2010 3:18:45 PM)

Yes but you don't have to drive a car if you don't want to...but don't get me wrong I voted against pro C but I understand why people voted for it. I think they are short sighted but reality reins in Missouri and somebody had better take notice and adjust their goals or the healthcare plan will all be gone come 2012.

We agree again...except Id say 2011 not 2012!

slvemike4u -> RE: Proposition C in Missouri (8/5/2010 5:17:56 PM)

Now you know you have things figured all wrong when an idiot like that agrees with you.Time to reconsider your thoughts on this issue Butch.

So, you're all for the government dictating what to buy as opposed to giving the people a choice to opt out of Obamacare if they don't want to be taxed for 4 years before being eligible for benefits?

I just don't understand why anyone would want to give up the freedom to choose, I really don't.

mike is just a fucking idiot, so I understand him wanting the government to care for him, if I were as retarded as him, I would hope someone would take care of me too, but any sensible person would balk at  giving so much control to Washington.

slvemike4u -> RE: Proposition C in Missouri (8/5/2010 5:58:33 PM)

Endearing words will not sway me subrob....I don't swing that way(not that there is anything wrong with it) and even if I were so inclined.....I have rules about getting involved with racist rednecks.
So you might as well cut out the flattery [:)]

lol...It is not my thoughts mike... I agree with you...but it seems we are for once in the minority. It does no good to deny there is a problem and looking for solutions is better than sticking our heads in the sand.

So someone who doesn`t drive,who doesn`t take those risks or get`s into crashes can avoid the cost of insurance.

How can you guarantee that a citizen won`t "crash"ie. incur hospital bills that ultimately you tax-payers absorb if they`re broke?

I don`t think it`s possible for someone to claim they won`t get sick,the way a non-driver can claim they won`t crash.

I think a better analogy, would be a driver claiming they don`t need insurance because they aren`t ever going to get into an accident.

Life just doesn`t work that way.It`s not a matter of if but when a driver is involved in an accident.

It`s the same with health.It`s not an if thing.It`s a when thing.And when one becomes ill,IMO,they should pay something and not leave to tax-payers to pick up.

In essence,what anti-reform folks want is to give out free healthcare.

Continuing your penchant for misstating what other people think about things that you are clueless about.

PA is already taking the leap...

The state's new high-risk health insurance plan, PA Fair Care, is accepting applications from Pennsylvanians starting this morning.

The program is meant provide health coverage for Pennsylvanians who have been unable to obtain insurance because of preexisting medical conditions. Up to 3,500 Pennsylvanians will receive coverage initially on a first-come-first-serve basis. Policies will cost about $283 a month.

Not exactly a huge leap for PA, since its being funded with Federal $$.
